After decades of futility and heartbreak, I don't know any Chiefs fan who doesn't get teary eyed thinking about this era of Chiefs football. Never in my wildest dreams did I think the Chiefs would become a dynasty, with their players and coach on every commercial, and considered the team to beat in the NFL. This is as good as it gets and all Chiefs fans need to just sit back and enjoy how great it's been, without worrying too much about future success.
I dread the day Mahomes retires. I have to remind myself every game to enjoy this greatness that only happens every few generations. Michael Jordan and Roger Federer level greatness.

It's not necessarily the Chiefs that people hate, it's the winning that people hate. The Lions could win the next 2 Super Bowls and the exact same people that are hating on us would be tired of them already. Bunch of sore losers and poor sports.
I have noticed that a lot of the country hates it when a small market team wins. They can't wrap their brains around it. They would be okay if their team lost to New York, LA or Dallas but they can't wrap their heads around how the Chiefs are a so good.
This is why it makes me angry the chiefs get so much hate. My chiefs broke my heart every year from the time I was born until I was 25 years old. Chiefs fans have seen them lose a playoff game in the most horrific ways possible. An insane comeback by the colts, a game where the steelers didn't score a single TD and still won. I went to games the year we went 2 and 14. This fanbase has earned this moment
