This fact applies any country, your colleague is not your best friend, i have also fallen for that trap too, my colleague will lure you to say things most especially about my side hustle and later reported to the boss that i don't really need the job since i have my own side business already

Never lose your guard. Don't talk too much in any first world country you find yourself. Be friendly, but don't be too chatty.

I just believed we as workers from Nigeria brings a lot of toxicity job culture which the UK would not accept and once your able to do away with it then your free to go.
I have held two jobs consecutively and being able to perform the duties without any form of disciplinary or issues as I have fully integrated into the British society and I have removed all form of negative issues I learnt in Nigeria, I have only missed 3 days of work in the whole of the 15 years of my jobs, I take my attendance as a priority and my dedications in the face of changing environment to the apex and so am never scared of performing my duties.
Thanks for your vlogs and keep it coming, let people know what environment they coming to work.

@A TAURUS QUEEN OF ZION! if the father of your children is here in the UK ( not sure where you are) then you are entitled to get money from him. I paid child support till my son was 18th and just a few weeks ago, the CMS ( child maintenance service) sent me a mail that I should stop paying the mother. It doesn't mean I will stop supporting him but legally is not obliged.
In my teens, I lost my father and my mum along with her wonderful family helped raise her children, five of us and so it can be done. You have to find your support system and I wish you the best.

Interesting listening to your experiences..I feel that you should have a support system in place..the management should have someone working with you and have a booklet of things you have to do and know which is your foundation practice booklet. The things you describe are basic safety training program.checklists..sleeping on the job has always been a stackable offense..we need more nurses to care.. 🙏🌻🌻.an ex- nurse abused and discriminated .

Never sleep on shift, is easiest way to get the sack, splash water on your face, step outside, anything but sleep
Edit - be very careful with medication, it’s huge in this profession, take it very seriously, errors can lead to prison time in worst cases

It’s best you discuss this with your employer if you’re pregnant. Ideally you are entitled to 1 year, 9 months paid and 3 months unpaid.
