I'm brown skinned too and when I found a sunscreen that I can finally put a lot of without any white cast, this girl has been wearing them everyday despite not leaving the house lol
Cetaphils’ sunscreen works great on me it doesn’t leave a white cast & hasn’t broke me out (I have very sensitive skin). Sometimes the white cast comes from applying too much at once you have to apply it in thin layers allowing each layer to set in before applying another.
Yesss. I use the Cetaphil one too. It's the best cheaper one for me. Cause most non-white cast sunscreens usually tend to be more on the expensive side
I got sun bum when i went to New York and literally fell in love with it!! I actually live in Mexico and I’m SO SAD seeing how sun bum isn’t sold here it’s literally the best sunscreen ever for brown people like you and I 😭😭😭💕💞💕💞💕💕💕‼️
Same here, honestly all western brands made my dry sensitive skin give up on life 😭😭 Thankfully K beauty is relatively affordable and accessible, coming in clutch with hydration and no white cast!
Please forgive my ignorance...but in India, the Caribbean, and Africa...how much Sunscreen are they using? And what is the skin cancer rate of the darker shades of skin in India? I only hear of sunscreen being used by deeper shades of skin in Western nations. Please forgive my ignorance, I'm truly curious. From what I know, many darker cultures actually put oils and butters on their skin and spend most of the time in the sun to only emerge with beautiful and even complexions.
you are right. An indian dark skin girl here. I never wore sunscreen before this sunscreen trend and guess... never got a sunburn. i would only tan but that would away in the winters. My mother who is lighter has never put sunscreen on her face. If anything, she sits in the sun for HOURS in the winters. She tans, but again it goes away with time. To me, this sunscreen thing sounds like a scam that dermatologists and companies are promoting for profit.

i used to work at sephora and this was a big problem for me and many of our customers. the Unseen Sunscreen from Supergoop! is also amazing for this! it’s a lot more gentle on the skin in comparison to this one as well and leaves a beautiful matte finish. It’s a little more expensive but much better for your skin, and the environment if going to the beach or lake. I wear it daily and it’s incredible, and doesn’t leave your face feeling oily. It’s also perfect for sensitive skin. I have bad allergic reactions and breakout to most chemicals in skincare, yet Supergoop! leaves my skin feeling amazing with no breakouts or irritation. HIGHLY recommended
Ok, so can anyone help me with some questions? I recently started using sunscreen and on the first day it gave me the prettiest glow. But on subsequent days, extremely hot and humid weather and travelling made me feel that the sunscreen made me look dark (i skipped sunscreen one day and the colour was somewhat close to my original tone). Also it enhanced the appearance of texture or i should say it induced texture into my otherwise fine skin. And also, it made me look old. Give me answers. Why. Why why.
@@elle..xoxo.. that's not the point this comment was making. In the video when the white cast was visible it was cut to the flawless base without the cast (claiming it to be not producing white cast) So we don't know whether it blended well or she just put another shot without the sunscreen. And that is kinda misleading.

@@sitaranaia7500 i recommend the supergoop unseen sunscreen or the neutrogena ultra sheer face & body stick sunscreen ☺️

I have a melon flavour Sunbum lip balm, it's really nice. Doesn't dry my lips out like other chap sticks and it tastes so good!! 😋
Most Korean and Japanese sunscreens do not leave a white cast on my skin 😊
I ordered after watching your video.
I have that tinted lip balm in Bonfire, I LOVE it!
Chemical sunscreens have no white cast options. I am curious about this one though, it looks like a physical sunscreen.
Unfortunately it's a chemical one 🥺

sun bum face 50 burns my eyes. it’s good on my skin but it burns my eyes so bad
Don't...put it. In you eyes???!
@@mxruwa5741 you’re supposed to put sunscreen on your lids and around them
Proceeds to leave white cast 😅
No spf 30 does nothing. 50 is the lowest you should go. It gives good and proper protection
False. Dermatologists say SPF 30 is the minimum, but even then, they say any sunscreen that you actually wear and reapply every two hours is best.
Does it have zinc bc sunscreen without it will help not get sunburnt but won’t prevent skin cancer. Only sunscreen with zinc will prevent that
Garner Solair do a clear spray on with vitamin e. It's 8 euros in boots
