Hello Everyone 😘 Today I want to share with you very delicious and healthy recipe made with cabbage! Very simple, flavorful, cheesy dish made in a minutes. Make this quick and easy dish for your loved ones. My kids favorite breakfast! Try this easy, quick and very delicious recipe for breakfast, lunch or dinner and let me know in a comment's "How do you like it?".

Yield: 4 servings
INGREDIENTS:
2 Eggs
Season with black pepper
add 1 tbsp All-purpose Flour and mix well ( I used Jovial Organic Einkorn Flour)
1/2 Head of small cabbage
1 Carrot
Green Onion
4 thin slices of ham (optional)
Dill or cilantro (optional)
1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
1 tbsp butter
4 eggs
Season with Salt and Black pepper
Gruyère cheese

If you just mix the egg in with the cabbage, you have a version of egg foo young, as I was taught by my college Dutch Indonesian roommate. Add kitchap sauce for flavoring.
Healthy? For sure!! But cabbage before working in a busy office? Maybe not I'll save this for the weekend or a work-at-home day 😅

This is the kind of dish made from necessity, way back when the people of this region had a scarcity of ingredients and had to be inventive with “the same old stuff”. Some delicious dishes come out of that kind of situation. I’m thinking potato dishes in Ireland, for example.
I was thinking the same thing. But I've been to many national and regional restaurants, and what I see on the menus really doesn't look or sound like what people were eating a 100 or 150 years ago. But maybe I'm just a "traditionalist? Gonna look for a native american cookbook now. Especially interested in what flavorings, herbs, and spices they used.

I fell in love with this recipe when I discovered it over a year ago and I now make it for lunch every Saturday. It is so satisfying whether I make it with chopped ham or turkey, or even bananas and then topped with a dollop of yogurt and raspberry preserves. And so quick and easy!

I made this yesterday for my husband's bday. He's very particular. It was gone in minutes 😅
The few changes I made was using not just fresh cilantro, I added some dill. We used thin portions of chicken...it all worked great! Much Appreciation ❤❤❤

Hi Sophie , O so Delicious 😋, Thank You For Sharing, ❤, what part of the world do these recipes belong, I have just made Venison stew, today, Poopy, not bud, cup of tea, but I was given some venison back a beginning of the year, I thought I would try a recipe that I’d seen on the Internet, and it involves putting 2 teaspoon force of Dijon mustard into the stew just before it’s finished cooking, it taste, amazing, Because I live by myself, I normally make enough for at least 8 to 10 portions. This one has gone well passed that, I think I’ve divided it all up I might have between 20 and 25 portions which obviously can be frozen down, look forward to seeing another recipe recipe from you in not too distant future, I hope you and your family are keeping safe and well,
She may be in Germany, judging from the language. They do traditionally use a lot of cabbage and eggs.

Hm, this one is kinda interesting) I would do a couple of things in addition, though) If you do not mind) First of all, I would cover a frying pan with a lid for additional heat... It seems like it's definitely not enough time for internal layers to be cooked properly) And the second thing is I would change ham with a schwein that is specifically marinated in a certain way, like Hamon with herbs but without years and years of aging.... It would be way better than Ham, as you may certainly suggest... Anyways, I think it's a good one as well! =) Thanks, Dear! =)

I used bagged chopped lettuce and carrots (like for coleslaw) all other ingredients were the same except that I used almond milk cheese and used green Cholula sauce at the table.
Ate it for dinner between two people LOL 😂DELICIOUS!!!❤😋
