yea the sl6 paint jobs were some of the more vibrant and cooler paint schemes I wish they brought some of those back, now everything looks so metallic and kind of muted
I love the SL6 just bought mine 2 weeks ago, just the frame. Storm grey/blood orange letters, size 49cm. Best Tarmac ever made, rim brake too. Great video I love that it’s so light as well!
thats awesome and I love that color way someone just commented saying they have that same color I think he said its only in europe and wasnt offered in america
I loved how Specialized marketed the Aethos as the lightest 'disc' road bike. And then just about a year ago we had this. Everything the Aethos is trying to be with all the performance from the SL7(or atleast all the performance you need). I am so grateful for brands like Colnago and bianchi just to name a couple, to be considerate enough for letting us choose between rims and discs. Gorgeous bike. A part of me wishes it atleast had 2x , but that's just personal preference.
@@GCPerformance18 I suppose you're talking about the Specialissima. They do provide a rim brake specific frameset, but not as a complete building. TBH, I'm totaly fine with that. I have the same bike with basically the same set up except 2x eTap/Zipp 404. I fall in love again every time I ride it. I ordered the frame drone a shop in Europe and got a color Specialized didn’t offer in North America (Storm Grey frame/ Rocket Red Logos). Ugh... my old bike... god damn I miss that paint scheme... and that bike. Sucks balls it was a frame size too big... could only stand it for 2,000 miles and had to send it to a new home. My all time favorite Specialized paint scheme. Pains me to see it again... absolutely loved it. I gotta ask... how tall is your buddy that owns it... that saddle height is pushing the limits of what's possible LOL

@@GCPerformance18 Damn... that’s crazy! I’m also 6’ on the number... and my saddle position is 3.5 on the seat post... also a 56 SL6... your buddy has to be maxed out lol

yea I know me too, this year for the paint jobs they weree really bright and made the eyes draw to them now the paint jobs are more muted and futuristic
Stunning bike. Had the chance to buy this color way as a regular Tarmac Expert (non-Sworks) but just could not bring myself to drop 5K (with tax). Also the shop had it one size too big so I kept looking. I'm liking my 52cm Roubaix Sport so I should be happy but I still think about that bike! It felt very fast when they let me briefly try it. -thanks for reminding me Ha ha.
