Hi there! Super awesome! Feel free to check out my free resources on my Teachers Pay Teachers and I also have a video on 30 must-have classroom supplies if you want to start thinking about that 😊
Hello, I enjoyed supply teaching for Kindergarten and Grade One. There is plenty of Kindergarten supply teaching employment for Grade one also. Thanks for connecting!!!
Lots of great info. Could you demonstrate your small group strategies in real time? Also, who or how is it decided for kid's book bags? Thanks for sharing! ❤️
I am not a classroom teacher anymore so I would not be able to demonstrate with students, but I will post another video that goes into detail about skills and strategies during small group 😊 the books I had in bins were leveled readers so students chose based on their level and the books in the general display were for all. I'm glad my video was helpful! 😊🥳
Could you do a video just on your teacher table where you have your laptop and projector area? We’re going back to hybrid soon and I like your small table setup area.
Hola, Yaritza! This vlog is awesome, and chock full of really beneficial tips and information. I LOVE how organized you are (you're a girly after my own heart)! Loving the siteboard sheets...are they available on your TpT Store page, by chance? Are they only in the mini clipboard size, or are they available in the larger clipboard size as well for the purpose of having an additional option?
Hola, Crystal! Thanks so much for your comment! ❤️ yes, the clip board recording sheets are available in half a page and full page options. Here's the free download link: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Syllables-and-Rhyming-Words-Recording-Sheet-6515577
@@learningwithyaritza Muchas Gracias, Yaritza! Another question...are these the same sheets in which you mentioned that the student will have to write their name on it and also the title of a book they choose to read and also they can use it with their iPads (as shown on your mini clipboard at the time stamp: 13:06). Is this the same half sheet as the one you showed at the time stamp above? This is the other sheet I was looking for on TpT, but I don't think I was able to identify this one. Is this the same form, or a different one? Is there a link for this one as well?
Your videos are great. So glad I found them. I was wondering what platform you use to send videos to parents and also do you have the skills list you were reading that you simplified for guided reading groups available?
Thanks so much! 🥰 I started using Talking Points this year, it's a free messaging app and what's super great is that it translates my messages to parents. It has over 100 languages it can translate to and I have parents that speak Farsi, Amharic, Arabic, and Bengali. I can send class announcements or individual messages with pictures or videos. And I will be giving the skill list a face list this summer and will post it/link it for free when I'm done 👍🏼
I know this is an old video, but I just have a question? So did you group the children together who are all at the same level example all the ones who recognize uppercase letters
I will be a first year kindergarten teacher next school year and I love these tips! Definitely took notes!

Great tips. Where did you get the mini mirrors?
Thank you! I got the mini mirrors from Lakeshore, they are shatterproof safety mirrors 😊
@@learningwithyaritza Perfect. Will look for them. Thanks
Great tips. At what point in the beginning of the school year do you begin the assessments?
Thank you! 😊 depending on the group, sometimes I'm able to start them the first week, sometimes the second - third week.
Would it be possible for you to share your rotation sheet for small groups? Or where can I get one similar. Thank you
I want to update the sheet a bit soon and I'll post it for free on my TPT. I can reply back to you with the link when it's done 😊
How do you differentiate your small groups for PreK? These activities seem more geared for Kinder or 1st.
With the pre-k kids, your focus should be tracking their letter sound mastery and work on phonological awareness activities.
I know this is an old video, but I just have a question? So did you group the children together who are all at the same level example all the ones who recognize uppercase letters
Yes, I grouped them by similar level starting with how many letters out of 52 they recognize and how many letter sounds.
Where did you get the story retell from?
The Hansel and Gretel retell puppets? Free download I found through Pinterest: learncreatelove.com/storytime-craft-hansel-gretel/
