- a long long LONG lighting walkthrough of a wrongfloor turret ring scene. seriously, its 25 minutes. so only watch it if you want to see how I deal with lighting a very complex scene. this is all real and raw, and I was more focused on doing a good job lighting than teaching. In this example I tackle a very tricky lighting situation from a current project, where I deal with a large ring of characters that need to be lit from very specific angles. Also I added a red alarm light to these shots afterwards and things instantly got 100x better
Along with the Line of Action tutorial, I find this quite useful. They went over rule of 3rds in that one Digital Photography class I took - Once. Lighting has always been one of my bigger issues, I've never followed any set format so, this is definitely useful stuff.
wow. good old times come back again. i never miss you.
THIS IS PRECISEXACTLY WHAT I WANT. I LUB YOU
Yay! Drun-Hungry tutorials...
Oh yeah a little tip, if you want to quickly turn a light on or off temporarily whilst preserving the intensity, the quickest way I've found is to right-click the light, click View in Element Viewer (light), then uncheck the 'enabled' box.
Anyone else like the longer videos more than the shorter ones? :D
Hey Zach, what PC specs do you have, my PC lags when I add 'so' much lighting.
BTW huge fan of LitFuse and like all of your work : D
Wooo its up!
To be fair on the guy, SFM is fairly new to the market and this is youtube where he could have simply searched 'lighting tutorial'.
