  • Ok I know tons of you guys are going to hate on me for this but I have to get some real information out, so like it or don't like it I'm ok either way homie!
A cheap brand never wants me to touch any of the product, its a fact of life.
Premium brands generally don't mind me testing gear and often even gets sent to me as it is sold and marketed under a globally accepted standard " technically sound" & meets the requirements set forth by the professional industry.
I wanted to write articles reviewing product for one of our local car audio magazines reviewing and testing speakers from various brands, this would give you the foundation to make a great choice.
The idea was to share the true parameters and performance along with a free cab design you can trust, along with some good reading information and I was shut down so hard because I could not be honest.... If a brand wants to say 10 000 watts yet its 500 watts, nope cant say anything!
I got shut down so hard with bringing forward legitimate information even with me throwing icing on cake not saying it is either good or bad.
On the flip side I see builders who know nothing about sound building speaker enclosures, no test equipment let alone even a box design tool of any kind giving advise. Selling product for dirt cheap and by the numbers & other guys selling stuff for massive mark-up's but in the end selling nothing but marketing or lies.. I guess it's how you look at things.
Is this to honest for you?
Lets quickly talk about 2 hot products right now being used in the market, with opinions flying left & right as to which is better!
Though honestly guys help me understand why you buy products from people or brands who actually know nothing about what they are selling or making?

Quite interesting. Great video, Gareth. I'd really like to see more. I am extremely curious about how hybrid products test.

@The-Sound-Guy it would be highly appreciated. I would be extremely curious if hybrid products will also be one of the brands that don't meet the specs.

4:14 using a strong amp, the pro of high sensitivity speakers pretty much goes out the window. you said it yourself loudness per watt
