  • Today, we have the new BMW M135i for our review. Yes, this is the third generation BMW 1 series. The new BMW M135i is now sitting on front wheel drive platform that is also shared with BMW X1 and Mini Countryman. And although this 2022 New BMW Hatch is shorter than the outgoing F20, due to tighter front wheel drive packaging, the new BMW M135i gets more interior space. And talking about the powertrain, the 2.0 Turbo loves to be revved and makes lovely pops and crackles when you do shift. So, let’s see if the new BMW M135i can be the best 2022 New Hot Hatch even with the front wheel drive layout.

      Well, for big guys the back might hurt a bit after driving for long time. But yes, they hold you very nicely around corners. Thank you for enjoying the new BMW M135i review.

    Best review I have watched on this car, nice to take it for the car it is rather than compare it to the previous gen. both great cars but different.

    I did a test drive on a m135i xdrive last week because I‘m looking for a daily car and I LOVED it. It feels much more agressive than the new Audi s3 which I was also considering to get. But the BMW sold me on that one.

    This is my favorite of the little premium hatches! IMO, nicer than the A35 or the S3. But I'd never buy this here in Korea because for the same price I could buy the fully loaded G70 3.3TT AWD.

    How did you feel about the suspension setting? is it more comfortable than 320i m sport package? I heard m135i has quite stiff suspension setting.

    • @AsianPetrolhead

      Well, I think 320i m sport pacakge feels a bit softer. This M135i is really fun hot hatch from BMW.

    Eletrics really kinda ruined the performance car market. 5.1 seconds used to Wow me, but now I'm like that's all? So stupid because it's crazy fast. Now you're like standing at the traffic light with your all bodykitted spoilered out performance turbo car and then be overtaken by the Renault Zoe next to you. These cars really start to feel from another age, it's just not the same anymore which is sad because going to 100 in 5 seconds with all the noise and vibrations and all is still so much more fun!

    • @AsianPetrolhead
      @AsianPetrolhead  2 года назад +1

      Yes, 5 second was like crazy fast, but nowadays, there are so many cars that does it. So, we are living in great time.
