Mi-26 were not used in the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant !!! the Mi-6 was used and there is no main liquidator truck, the KrAZ dump truck, which was mass-produced specifically for the elimination of the Chernobyl accident, single-seat with a leaded cabin. besides the trucks, there was still a bunch of tractors and various military equipment, not only the BRDM, but also the BTR-60,70,80, MTLB and many other trucks !!!

Very nice video, but you forgot one vehicle which is the RAF-22031. This was the main type of the ambulances which were used in the morning of April 26, to take care of all the brave firefighters and Chernobyl plant workers who came in touch with radiation.

small correction, it was 15000 roentgen, not microsieverts.. 15000 microsieverts is about 1.7 roentgen, about 5000 microsieverts/hour over a CT scan. Still quite alot of radiation, but nowhere near as much as 15000 roentgen, which is 132 MILLION microsieverts/hour.

Perhaps a little surprising as well:
*the other 3 working and undamaged reactors continued operations including having the technicians bussed in until the late 90's. 1997 i believe.*
"...trust me, Comrades, nothing to worry about. A miraculous invisible force field keeps all radioactive particles from falling in our paths every day. Ok, get on the bus."

Rubbish again )) ZIL-131 has either ZIL-131 or ZIL-5081 engines, both 6-liter and 150 hp. The 7-liter 180-hp motor was ZIL-375 for Ural-375 and other military vehicles.
Some of ZIL-131 tricks were featured with ZIL-375 in 1990s, but it was already a period of agony of the plant.
