when it comes to matters of obligation and prohibition in Islam, we got to to obey Allah and His deen over our parents choice/opinion, even if it means disobeying our parents because there's no obedience to creation in disobedience to the creator. Growing beard is wajib and cutting it down less than one fist length is Haram. Late for prayer,Music,Not praying in mosque for men,Not wearing hijab for women all this are haram including shaving the whole beard you don't have to have a huge beard like the sheikh but don't act like the non muslims men that look like women without a beard. For example, the first one can be translated differently. “But there are some who employ theatrics,1 only to lead others away from Allah’s Way-without any knowledge-and to make a mockery of it. They will suffer a humiliating punishment.” [Luqman 31:6]. This verse says “theatrics” without any implementation. Theatrics is not music but rather the performance of acts. Your next verse talks about singing and leading other astray. Singing is NOT always used in music. Some singing is used in nasheeds. Would that be haram 🤔? No you need to look at these verses in other translations before coming to quick conclusions.

Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him said: “Trim the moustache and leave the beard,” (Al Bukhari and Muslim). It is noteworthy that obeying Messenger in that is equivalent to obeying Allah. Allah says in the glorious Quran, “He who obeys the Messenger had indeed obeyed Allah.” The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to have a large beard, we as Muslims should imitate him in his practices. Quran says that, “In the messenger of Allah is good example for you to follow.”

      May Allah forgive you brother.
Are you going to leave over 40+ authentic Hadiths of prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, and the practice of 120,000+ companions who Allah praised in the Quran and follow a mazhab you have no clue about that says shaving a beard is “disliked”!?
What kind of mindset is this?
1- The Shafaai mazhab is wrong on this issue because we follow evidence and they don’t have evidence all they said is that it’s part of the prophet’s time so it’s just disliked however, hanbalis, malikis, hanafis, zahiris and the companions disagree. Late Shafaais have no authentic evidence.
2- Even in the Shafaai mazhab, Imam Alshafaai himself, the one who it’s named after, said it’s HARAM!!!!!!!! (Refernece: Kitab Al-UM)
3- Late shafaai scholars, 700 years after the prophet, said it’s disliked. However, Ibn al-Rafa', al-Hilmi and al-Adhra'i from the same mazhab (Alshafaai) criticised that view. So in the same mazhab there is a difference of opinion between disliked and haram.
4- Let me get this straight, you’re telling me you’ll leave every single mazhab, the prophet’s order and 124,000+ companions who never even touched their beards (except Abu Huraira and Ibn omar they had fist long beards) and you’ll follow a disputed opinion in the Shafaai mazhab that said it’s disliked!!!!!
I’ll leave this here for you:
The Messenger of Allah said: "What is the matter with people who say such and such? But I pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me." (Sunan an-Nasa'i 3217)
Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him said: “Trim the moustache and leave the beard,” (Al Bukhari and Muslim).
      May Allah guide us.

Imam Alshafaai says in Kitab Al-UM in Arabic p89 volume 6:

These people doesn't know what they believe in. This beard thing (as most of the Quran) was copied from the Bible..
The beard rule was especially given to the people who followed Moses out of Egypt..
In all the verses in the Bible where it says not to shave beard it also mentioned not to cut your hair or not to scar yourself (tattooing).
The reason why this is told is that this is an Egyptian practice.. when some family member dies the male child shaves beard and hair and perform certain rituals. (Even today hindusim derives this practice)
Moses was against Egyptian practices, when the people followed this , he made the rule to not to do so...
This is what happens when you create a new religion without understanding what and why certain things are said .
