Happy Birthday2014 No, Ozzy is not an outspoken "Christian". Anyone who says such a thing has never, ever read the Holy Bible. He refers to himself as "The prince of darkness". Perhaps you aren't educated enough to know who the prince of darkness is? Well, it's Satan, not Jesus the Christ. Ozzy serves Satan, not Christ, therefore calling Ozzy and "outspoken Christian" is complete out of line and false.
Oh of course. That's a big part of what makes their music so awesome and unique. The mix of hard rock & metal, bills jazz swing, and the special sauce ingredient to me is the funky elements within the distorted heavy riffs. It makes it just have such a cool sound. I mean when I'm jamming to some sabbath I don't get the urge to head bang the way I would to other types of metal or heavy music, instead I rock my head back and forth almost like I'm jamming to a heavy rap beat or something and I find myself saying "hell yeah" "ugh yeah!" And "so cool" during the best parts while rocking my head.
Yep, if someone asked me which band I think "defined" Heavy Metal, it would be Black Sabbath. Very diverse, incredible chemistry, and they practically invented it
0:56 that's is the best moment of this song! Take a look how it's perfect! Bass, guitar, drums, harmonicals, dinamic, rithm, distorsion, melodic... It's fantastic, it's eternal. It's Sabbath!
My personal favorite part of the song would be 1:44; the drums and the bass are outstanding mixed with the guitar. Can't really disagree with you, though, because the entire song is fucking great.
There are enough riffs and ideas to fill an entire album in this song only . But Sabbath is so fuckin amazing and confident that they don`t care. and they know they can come up with even better stuff, like Supernaut, Snowblind, Tommorows Dreams and Under the Sun.
Most of their songs in Ozzy era are full of ideas they could easily recorded more LPs but i guess drugs traveling concerts and all that stuff affected them
About this song, in may 2015, Bill Ward said: "It's just really good. A great live track. It rocks, kicks ass. On a personal note, when I was having some problems in the hospital in November and December… I'd gone through the operations, the first of the operations I had in November and December of 2013. I had my iPod and the one song I played practically every day was 'Cornucopia'. It really helped me along to listen to it. I just wanted to… I was in pretty bad shape, and I wanted to listen to what I used to be like, at that time."
That's really interesting. I read somewhere that Black Sabbath almost fired Bill when they recorded this song because he was having so many difficulties recording it because he was so drugged out
I think this song is one of the best examples of how not only Sabbath itself but Tony Iommi is THE fucking riff master. So many heavy riffs with intricate guitar dubs over them. His riffs are so heavy you'd need a truck to move them.

Sabbath provokes evil and sheer bliss all at the same time. There music is known as a Spiritual Awakening. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.
