Why do you blip the throttle when you down shift? You are still using the clutch and not speed matching the tranny.
My understanding is that you rev match when you downshift to match engine speed with gear speed. If you don’t rev match and just shift down without blipping it feels all bogged down and lurchy. When you blip and clutch shift it’s smooth and you slow down slow instead of lurching and feeling all bogged since the lower gear and higher rpm match the speed. I think it’s pretty norm, have gotten better with it. This was my first month riding.
