This is probably one of the best sbemails to introduce people to if they’ve never seen HR before. Minimal on the inside jokes and running gags, highly relatable, and still hilariously shows off The Brothers Chaps’ humor.

I love this entire email, from the tech support to the Datum center to the insane laughter at the end, but somehow I think my favorite part might be around 1:29--just the expressionless look that Strong Bad gives the receiver in his hand. It's priceless.
I remember, when this first came out, back in dinosaur times, a lot of people on the wiki forum were impressed by the little artistic/cinematic touches in this email. The whip-pan/splitscreen combo, and Strong Bad marching to the Concession Stand in silhouette on particular got high praise.

Well, now I know that "Baud" is a real word😁 It's not that it's before my time--I'm 41. I just didn't start using the internet until nearly the end of the 90s...and didn't start using it daily until 2010. The word had been "retired" in favor of Bps long before I was in a position to notice.
In any case, that's still faster than my internet has been since my mobile plan ended and I started using our home WiFi... I WANT to blame Comcast, but everyone else's internet is speeding right along (and my phone is newer and better quality than both of theirs😜) Could it be that Boost Mobile is throttling me in order to "encourage" me to restart my service? Is that even possible? It's the only thing my phone has that the other ones connected to the router lack.
