I absolutely love your "wealth of knowledge" when it comes to organization and planning! You inspire me to get an LV agenda ASAP!!!! I'll definitely be referring to this vid in the future..hehe! Love it! 😍
I’ve had the smaller trimmer for over 5 years. Same brand/model as yours. I’ve never replaced the blade on it. While it’s not a clean factory-like cut (mine usually curls the edge of the paper minutely), it’s never had clumpy frayed edges like yours did. Maybe I got a defective one in a good way... and mine is one of the few that works like it should. 🤣
Love your video! I was wondering the exact measurements of the bypass trimmer? From top to bottom, and also, from side to side, please? I need it to sit next to me, and I only have a certain amount of room. Thanks in advance!!
My problem is with large one.Where is bends it's hard to be precise measurements where it bends.Any ideas how to solve that? Problem with small one is changing blade Got the blade out how do you get the 'blue plastic' piece off it really on that blade!!!
I wonder about the accuracy or both of these.I mean i make proxy cards for mtg, some cutters(free from staples and i bought exact- o trimmer) miss the border by a hairline.I'm looking for something that is so accurate that it can handle delicate images and borders.
I'm currently using American Crafts Cutup Portable Craft Trimmer, and I've had it for 3 years. It's hard to get the blade replacement here in my country (was lucky to found one once in Spotlight during clearance sale). So, I'm considering to buy Fiskars once the one I have can't be use anymore.
So I bought this trimmer from your 5 best planner essentials video and I’ve used it a few times and I love it! My question though is how in the world do you use it to cut inserts between the crop marks when you can’t lift the blade?
I have the smaller one and from day one I have fought with it… for some reason the blade does not line up with the cutting groove. So it doesn’t cut all the way through and it has cut its own groove into the plastic. Anyone else have this happen?
I have two we r memory keepers cutters: 1. Trim & score board & 2. Mini Guillotine I’m loving the self sharpening blade on the guillotine. Definitely looking for a full size light weight cutter with a self sharpening blade
I have had the Fiskars Procision Rotary Bypass Trimmer for almost 3 years and it still works great. I started with a cheaper 12 in. Fiskars and I didn't like it. It's still too big to be portable and replacing blades is a hassle. If you need a portable trimmer, consider the Fiskars 9 Inch Bypass Paper Trimmer (199130-1001),White: smile. amazon.com/Fiskars-Bypass-Paper-Trimmer-199130-1001/dp/B000NUY5Q2/ref=sr_1_32?dchild=1&keywords=portable+paper+trimmer&qid=1590251394&sr=8-32
Purchased the more expensive Fiskars rotary cutter after my basic paper trimmer broke. I purchased it at Michaels for $90 after they price matched it for me!!!!! Joanne’s had it for $90 but they did not have any in stock.
Thanks. Bought the big one a few days ago for $91. On its way. Glad to see it cut better, and thanks for the self-sharpen info.
I was eyeing up these ones, but I couldn't decide, now thanks to you I know what I want. Thank you!✨
I'm glad I can help 🥰
Best review Ive seen of this cutter yet. Actually, the only well done review for this product I've found!
Glad I can help🙌

Aww yay I'm glad to hear that. That's how I feel about your RUclips videos 🥰 ❤️
@@ranaplans you're so sweet love 💞💞💞

That's amazing! I guess you got lucky then 😂🙌
What’s the purpose of the small orange slider on the side in the by pass cutter table?
I’m amazed at how much the smaller cutter was. I bought mine for $7 and some change about two years ago. It’s a great cutter for what I need to cut.
What about the precision? Is it easy to see exactly where your cuts will be? Does the paper slide when cutting multiple pages?
I haven't tried cutting multiple pages because I like every sheet to be the exact same size. Yes it's very easy to see where it will cut 😊
Thanks so much. I have been looking for a new cutter for inserts and didn't really find a lot of videos with much details
Glad to help 😘❤️
How do u replace the rotary blade? Thank u.

How do you cut multiple pages? They don't fit under the cutter
I don't trim much so I do one page at a time 🙂
$20 for the small one at Walmart for the US watchers

You're welcome 😊
I would love a precision trimmer
You'll love it💕
How’s many inches is the larger one ?

Yeah I think that's a good idea if replacement blades are hard to find 👍
Really helpful, thanks!
Glad I can help🥰
Hello, is it compatible with a 1mm magnetic sheet?
Unfortunately I'm not sure about that...
So I bought this trimmer from your 5 best planner essentials video and I’ve used it a few times and I love it! My question though is how in the world do you use it to cut inserts between the crop marks when you can’t lift the blade?
Hey love please feel free to message me on Instagram and I can help from there🥰
Does the small one work with chipboard? Or thick cardstock at 80lb?
It does but unfortunately you'll have to change the blade more often😩
Really helpful 🌸🌸🌸🌸
I love it 💗💗💗💗
Yay I'm glad 🙌
If you laminate covers or dashboards witch one is better
The rotary bypass trimmer is made to cut through thicker material so I would recommend it in that case. Thanks for watching 🥰

Self sharpening is definately a game changer. No more waiting on replacement blades so I can get a clean cut 😊

Yes I love the self sharpening feature 🙌 thanks for sharing the portable one 😊
Thank you I ordered mine just now!
