It’s more than what I get for food usually each day. I don’t care if you like your food or not. Food is not for pleasure or enjoyment (flavour, spices or herbs etc) its purpose is for survival.
If that was the case, you wouldn't have taste receptors. If you think that way, you'll end up eating nutrient cubes some day. Also the food prisoners get is borderline toxic, then you see wardens doing sh like abusing the stipends they receive for the prison food budget to pay for multi million dollar stuff. Prisons are designed to rehabilitate and punish people, not to torture.
