Rice is a gluten and grain , your aware the reasons why its good were first written by a dog food maker with no education? Europe it's frowned upon and dogs live 3-5 years longer without grains or glutens

@@patrickgrady7505 I would think like for everyone, only in moderation, too much rice just adds weight. I only use brown rice, don't like the idea of white rice being bleached.

dogs are constantly getting human diseases in North America. Spending more time at the vet and more time diseased and sick.
In the wild, a dog will eat anything when they are hungry enough..... and get sick. But in the wild, it is small animals that they hunt for. And they will eat sweet garden root vegetables.
Not sure what the science is for feeding them rice. Our dog will stay close to our table and kitchen when we cook lamb or this fermented starchy product called Eba. She will beg for it.....though for 10 years of her life, she never ate it before. My African husband (whose dog lived to 18 years and never vaccinated) fed him scraps and occasionally Eba.....and decided to give my Maltese this fermented dried cooked Eba.
She begs for it when we make it....but because it is starchy we limit the amount.
