Glad to know that I wasn't an exception! I got my first period after 5 weeks - I thought it was something serious and rushed to the emergency only to know that it was probably my periods. But then I was exclusively breastfeeding my baby and then the regular periods started after 6 months

Great video. Really appreciate all the information you share on your channel. I actually got my period two months after I had my baby! But I didn’t get regular until about five months, I would have it every other month until about five months after she was born. I also cramp more now than I did before getting pregnant. And I am breastfeeding. Not sure who started the myth about not having a period until you stop breastfeeding but that’s certainly not the case for me!

Knowledge is power. "in all things seek wisdom".
You will have the initial PP bleed, then it can take a while for your normal period to come, different for everyone, just make sure you have a lot if disposable towels at home, it can come anytime, moreover since you will be busy with baby you just want to have everything you will need. Don't use cups or reusable pad( too much stress).
Good luck. You will be fine.

Our families benefit from many aspects of breastfeeding.
    Self-discipline in life
Better eating and health care for the whole family
    Practicing restraint in bad actions
Makes everyone in the family receive the benefit of all, especially my wife and children. The results of this matter are the most obvious.
Our family also relies on breastfeeding as a natural contraception.
This makes our family's 4 pregnancy periods about 3 years apart.
which my wife and I did not interfere in that natural process
We currently have 8 daughters in our family.
    out of 4 pregnancies
(Female twins 2 all 4 times)
    Sofia and Jojo
    10 years 1 month
    Anna and Elsa
    Age 7 years 2 months
    Daisy and Minnie
    4 years 1 month
    Callie and Olife
    Age 1 year 4 months
    In the 2nd/3/4th pregnancy
My wife hasn't seen a return of her postpartum periods even once.
But my wife and I noticed that every time we were about to conceive a new
The signs of ovarian mucus are always detected 2-3 times.
Shortly after my ovulation was detected, my wife became pregnant again.
Our family will continue to do this for as long as possible for the wellbeing of all family members and the effect of natural contraception that my wife and I have agreed and intend to always be.

I am exclusively breastfeeding my baby is 1 month and 2 weeks and I got my period today .. is that normal ? Anyone else got it as early as 1 month while breastfeeding ?

    • @shawneeherendeen
      @shawneeherendeen 5 лет назад

It could be breakthrough bleeding. I had that about 6 or 7 weeks pp and it seemed like a period but it wasn't quite as bad as my normal cycle. My ob said it was breakthrough bleeding. I also bled (spotting) each time we had sex for a few weeks. It stopped now. I use ovulation tests on the daily to help prevent pregnancy

    • @shawneeherendeen
      @shawneeherendeen 5 лет назад

Maybe breakthrough bleeding? I had breakthrough bleeding right after my pp bleeding stopped at about 6 or 7 weeks pp. Doc said it probably wasn't my period. I take ovulation tests daily to track my cycle so I will know when to expect my period when it does finally come. I'm exclusively breastfeeding as well. Also, keep in mind that bleeding is ONLY your period AFTER OVULATION. You can get pregnant before your period because you ovulate 2 weeks before you bleed. ☺ it gives me peace of mind to know when to expect my period and when to abstain.

My baby is 9mo. I’ve been breastfeeding since birth but he doesn’t breastfeed at night. I was told when he is in his bed by himself at night that my period will come back and I’m still waiting for my period. I mean I’ve been cramping and it’s been about a month but still no period so I’m like am I pregnant or am I just about to have a period

Omg i am cramping so badly here and my baby is gonna turn 3 month's and no period yet and bad cramps i went even to the emergency room and the doctor said it's because i am breastfeeding full time and that's why i am having this cramps and no period. This is my number 4 baby and i had my first period after birth when giving birth to the others only breastfeeding the two girls but not the first born ,he couldn't take it . I don't know i guess this pregnancy is different that my previous one's

I bled for 2 solid months after giving birth to my son. Then 5days later I got my period that lasted for 7days then about 3days later it started again and lasted about 5days then after 5days it started up again. And everytime its been reasonably heavy flow. No cramping luckily. I’m on the 3mnth injection and I’m not breastfeeding him. Should I be worried? Because this doesnt seem normal?

It differs from person to person, but after all 4 of my 1st trimester miscarriages my cycle started soon after and was regular. So regular, in fact, that I conceived before my period returned after my 1st MC. For me, my period has always been regular and never has a problem with regulating itself. Prayers for you if you are going through a loss 😔
