My new club car was hesitating very bad. Before they could even diagnose it, it completely died.Motor shorted internally along with the controller. Now it’s back and still hesitating. Mcor seems like an easy fix. I’m handy gonna try it myself
My 2014 Club Car Precedent died and we towed it home on “tow”. I charged it and “Nothing”, no headlights or anything. 5 months later I turned the key to on and the amber “Charge me” light came on. I checked the water in the batteries and charged it. The batteries are at 51 volts? It’s a 48 and still nothing. Does that sound like mcor to you? Thanks for your help. Dan
If your cart has an OBC, they changed some where around that year model, I think I would bypass the OBC pretty simple and just see what happened. You can probably do that without destroying the wiring harness If no OBC, it could be something as silly as a solenoid. A scanner from the Golf Cart shop would definitely tell you but I would try those couple things first
could be the MCOR, it could also be a speed sensor. The speed sensor is relatively cheap and I haven’t had any problems with Amazon speed sensors. Try one of those first if that doesn’t do it get you an OEM Mcore
@Kartz-n-Fartz - I liked and subscribed because of your great video here - thank you sir! If I understand, you're using a Curtis 1313 handheld diagnostic tool. Is there a sub-model suffix needed? I just acquired a used Club Car JE2112 cart and might consider spending the ($400?) if I can be sure I'm getting the right diagnostic tool. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm!
Glad you found this video helpful! I’m no scanner expert, but I understand there is a code reader and then there is a dealer programmer. If you’re going to do more than just read codes I would suggest to spend the extra money and get the programmer. I did purchase mine from a Club Car dealer and it was well over $400. I have had it for years, I also bought the adapter for EZGO. Hi Spencer Long, I’m thinking I paid $700? Anyway just beware you get the one that will do everything!
You know, don't you, that a lot to MCOR replacements (Mexico, other locations) are of poor quality? Original OEM replacements are expensive. This is a terrible Club Car design.
I agree nothing is as good as made in the USA! But with my experience, even though the OEM is expensive (and made in Mexico ), they do last much longer than whatever quality you get from Amazon. But the good thing is they’re not that difficult to replace and Golf Carts are fun! Thanks for the comment and please subscribe!

Hi, how could I get an Mcore for a 2020 onward lifted six passenger gas cart club cart
I would reach out to David Hicks at Revolution Golf Cars, in Augusta GA , he has an online store.
