I recently picked up the harmonica after having little to no time to play my other instruments now, as I'm in a new career where I drive a whole lot. Following along with your videos, i immediately bought a special 20 "C" and have been playing when I make stops on the road for work. Your content is extremely digestible and well made! You are the reason I'm still learning and playing music, despite my new career! Thank you Luke!
After trying other RUclips tutorials and not really vibing with them I found this channel and wow, I finally am getting it. With an hour or so’s practise with Luke’s instruction I was able to go from struggling to play single notes and not being able to bend at all to being able to play along almost perfectly with the solo.

I know you just briefly mentioned the analogy of a kid copying their parents to learn to talk, but that is EXACTLY how it is when learning a new instrument! You gotta learn how other people do things, and apply what you learned to create you own style! 👍
Fantastic, I made it also using a Shuffle using the Fender free app and works so well. The chords in the video seem to be wrong but the correct ones are in the description, thanks for a splendid video and lessons. I just grabbed my cheap Hohner harmonicas which are enough for learning.

Nice Juan! For beginner, the single most important thing is the Deep Relaxed Mouth Position. I recommend mastering it before moving on: www.harmonica.com/how-to-play-the-harmonica/
Amazing teacher!! So glad I found you...thank you for bringing change and happiness to my life!!
This means the word to me, Kathy. Truly an answer to prayer. Rock on!!!
I am a very experienced player but this is a very good beginner lesson. Well done. Highly professional.
Right on. Yeah, Vince Lumbarti started every season, “this is a football.” Can never get enough fundamentals. :-) Thanks for your kind words.
These guys rock 🎸 thanks for translating difficult concepts

Right on Paul! Thanks for watching! 😎🙌🏼🎶
Great teacher harmonica,,on RUclips👍👍
Muku - thank you!
Whoa! What a blast! I can't believe what just came out of me and this video. When it started, I said "yea-sure not me". But it woke up my jam-o-sphere from guitar days. I am a real beginner and still working on lip formation and single notes. But I got the bends, trills, and a playground to practice (in car) now. After seeing your instruction, encouragement and grins; I am weeks further along, and having FUN... Thank you!!!
Yes, keep on rockin in the jam-o-sphere! The car is my playground too, btw. ;-) Thanks for the note, Robert. Great news!
Thanks so much for sharing the lesson It is amazing! I appreciate. Greetings from Indonesia 🙏🏼 🇮🇩
You're welcome. It's my pleasure. Rock on! 😎
I know you just briefly mentioned the analogy of a kid copying their parents to learn to talk, but that is EXACTLY how it is when learning a new instrument! You gotta learn how other people do things, and apply what you learned to create you own style! 👍
Amen and amen.
Fantastic, I made it also using a Shuffle using the Fender free app and works so well. The chords in the video seem to be wrong but the correct ones are in the description, thanks for a splendid video and lessons. I just grabbed my cheap Hohner harmonicas which are enough for learning.
Thanks a lot !!!👍👍👍
You are welcome!
Damn, what a video. Sometimes you witness people who are just made for teaching. This bloke is one of them, great and understandable lesson. Honestly felt like my most patient mate sat me down and decided to help me play the harmonica. Thanks!
Aw, thanks for the kind words mate. Greatly appreciated. 🙏🏼 Rock on! 😎
What an EXCELLENT lesson. I'll replay it again and again while I play along until I get some of those phrases into my repertoire. Thanks Luke.
Very cool. Yeah, there’s a lot of years of information condensed into this short lesson. Bears repeating for sure. Thanks for you kind words.
this is a phenomenal video, well done! Even the mrs was like "hey you are actually getting better"!
WOO HOO! If you're impressing the mrs, there's nothing really better than that!
Here's to hoping the harmonica heats up your love life. ;-)
Rock on,
Luke
I have no words to thank you sir...amazing......
Most welcome, Tanvir! Rock on my friend. :-)
