Considering all your frustrations and poor fit of the model, you persevered and produced an amazing and beautifully completed model.....a real testament to your skills which brings us back again and again to your channel. And....your commentary is the icing on the cake!! Stay well and keep modelling, Alex.
😂😂😂I love your comments Alex, " world War one trench". That cracked me up. Thanks for the awesome build. You always produce top drawer work. And keep up the funny commentary as well.
My favorite jet fighter. I really like the result. And amazing work on fixing the problems. That part was really intresting to watch. Cheers and stay safe indeed!!!
I also have this same kit. I will use this video to help me build mine. I now know what are the areas that will cause me problems. It is a shame that what looked like a good kit turned out to be a lemon. You if course did a good job of turning out a great looking model. I originally bought this kit because I also liked he paint scheme, seems that and the cockpit are the two best things about this Eduards kit. Looking forward to building mine one day. I hope it is as good as yours.
You are really knocking it out of the park with these Israeli jets lately. When this thing blows over I plan on going to my local hobby shop and picking up that Revell 1/72 you built in your last vid.
Gorgeous model as always Alex, you know the drill with these aircraft models! Agree with you, the Mirage planes are simply lovely and the "kosher" version of it is exceptionally fascinating.
Wow, that old mold really fought you all the way Alex, but you definitely won in the end. Cracking finished model and I love the paint scheme. I have a new Revell Israeli KFIR C2 in the stash which I'm looking forward to for the paint scheme if nothing else. Take care, stay safe. John aka WessexModeller.
Hey mate. Hope you are doing ok. Have to love idf camo schemes and colours. First class build. Man that wing trench was something else...i kept expecting to see an x-wing come out the other end :)
Yes this kit is very difficult to build. The blanking plate behind the intakes is maddening to fit. I had to use round stock to push the fuselage wider to line up with the wing joints. Then make styrene strip landings so the aft end of the wing assembly will line up with the aft fuselage. Then the intakes on the outside leave huge gap all over. Oh I almost forgot the fuselage spine joint needs to be reinforced with superglue. But once the kit is painted it looks fantastic.
Starting the “weekend edition” of this kit now. (Same kit as this) Wish I’d seen other people’s reviews/ builds before I bought it .. oh well, if it turns out 1/2 as good as yours I’ll be happy
Yeah that's how I'm feeling with my kitty hawk mirage f.1ct/cr. It's a love hate relationship with it haha. I hated all the poor fit issues, incorrect instructions, and them not pointing out parts for each version. I had to look it up. It came out decent though I think. Sometimes it's good to have a challenge now and again so that way when you look at the finished kit and what you had to go through to get that makes you feel a bit of pride I think.
i almost built the hobbyboss copy (and it is an exact reverse engineered copy) of this kit. I dont know what went wrong, it all went together very nicely, apart from needing filler in the same places you have. But when I went to put the canopy on (i always build my jets with closed canopies) it fouled on the top of the ejection seat!! And yet the cockpit seemed set in its correct position, but i guess something must have moved!?
Silly question: how you clean out the sissolving putty from the brush? I refrained to use it because I don't want to trash a bursh every time I use it.
Eduard kits come with nice resin and photoetch accessories, but the fitting and standards in a lot of their kits is just trash. If Tamiya kits are a 9/10, Eduard is a 3/10 or 4/10. Good to see you bring this up, and not just ignore it cause you got a free kit.
My opinion is totally different regarding Eduard and Tamiya. Maybe this is because I make recent models from Eduard and older ones from Tamiya. This particular kit is originally from 2004, Tamiya kits this old are rubbish as well (to my opinion...).
This kit almost ruined the hobby for me. I love this Mirage so much I have 3 of these kits. For the bottom wing-fuselage join I put plasticard on the inside so it would line up nicely. But the wing fit was such garbage I didn't touch it for a year. I finally finishing now and it looks great, built the all aluminium livery. Next I will try the Hobby Boss Mirage with the Eduard components/decals.
you did an amazing job. I'm really enjoying watching your modeling videos. Have you ever tried building a balsa and tissue model airplane? I'm sure with your skill you could really turn out a nice one.
This Airbrush is a BARTSHARP Airbrush. They sponsor me but even so i can tell you i am very pleased with theyr quality/price ratio... I like my BARTSHARP 186. Thank you
Alex, love the build! Could you tell me who the band is or the female singer is a 37 minute mark to the end of your video. Very beautiful music would love to have some
One of the reps for Eduard should send you another kit for how many issues this one had. Because of this, I will be staying away from that company. Great build though. Definitely one of my favorite builders due to your talent and how you explain common things for newbies like myself.
The Mirage from Eduard is one of the older kits and reissued. New models are cool and without this amount of the problems. Furthermore Hobbyboss used this kit as an example one for theirs Mirage - so you might even find it in the different box :D
@@AlexModeling OK, I'm sorry I offended you. I'm sure you are sick of people (like me) who couldn't put a model together if his life depended on it, telling you what to do. You are very talented. I enjoy watching your videos. And I liked the subject of this video as I am Israeli.

Amazing video, Alex. You nailed it! Nice to see all of the extra details too.

Very nice result!
great work. lovely to see people keeping at the model besides the imperfections of the kit it self.. cheers
Great vídeo and I loved watching you build ir and going through the proces ! The music is fan!!TAS !!! tic !!!
Great result considering the fitting issues! Nothing cooler than a Mirage lll, Did enjoy the trench comment haha
Nice assembly wonderful.
Gorgeous model as always Alex, you know the drill with these aircraft models! Agree with you, the Mirage planes are simply lovely and the "kosher" version of it is exceptionally fascinating.
I admire your work Nice job
I'm from Poland, I'm building models just like you, stay home, stay with Alex.
My respect for you...!!!! Outstanding...!!!
Thanks!

Congratulations on the assembly ... I suggest video showing the assembly of the Mirage IIIE Kinetic kit
Hey brother. You stay safe too. Its a fine looking model.
Fantastic work
The mirage is one of my favourite aircraft your model came out amazing 🍻

GREAT JOB.... 🤩🤩🤩
Grazie tanti!
Good result as always!
i have the same kit, it is not so easy to buld but it's a beautiful plane!!
Indeed!
Beautiful Alex as always.
Beautiful result indeed, thx.
Maybe I don't know how to apply it but MM GBB001 doesn't adhere while and where AK black base does the job...
Mano sem comentários pra essa obra prima👏👏👏👏
Canadian viewer....well done build, Alex. Looks like you won the 'trench' warfare this kit threw at you.......
Cleaning trenches since 95😂😂😂
A lovely Mirage...colours are nice.👍

That also would BE a very good description... Swing trench!! Stay safe Mark
The "Dessert Aces" of the 6 Day War
It's cushdy! I love it.

great job way to power through brother...be safe

Considering how expensive Eduard kits are would expect the same if not better quality than Tamiya when it comes to detail, fit & finish.
Nice jet fighter model kit Israeli air force. I want that model kit for myself.

@@AlexModeling that would be a really interesting and different thing to watch.
"Look at this, this is madness."
"Madness? This. Is. Sparta!"
Joking aside, great job on it, I love that scheme!
Me too!!
Hi. What for glue do you use that is not visiblle on painted parts?
Thank you
Very nice
Fantastic video. Watching you paint is so therapeutic. The air gun you’re using, may I ask where you got it from?

Beautiful. The control stick is the wrong way around.
Alex, love the build! Could you tell me who the band is or the female singer is a 37 minute mark to the end of your video. Very beautiful music would love to have some
Why would you want an easy build when instead you can become an even better modeller? All jokes aside, sanding is a pain. Good work on this older kit.
Thank you! 🙂 You are right!

@@AlexModeling haha well if you build enough models I'm sure you'll find many curses that don't end just get reboxed.
全機凹線是否重新刻過?
What are the red lines on the bottom?
What if i drop tamiya cement in to my hand
You want an easy build? T A M I Y A
i love eduard and want this model.had to believe its kinda crappy.
A manche no cockpit ficou ao contrário.
appears to me that you put the stick in backwards.
