So it seems like the battery in the flip 5 is easier to replace than in the flip 3? I had to toss my flip 3 after a week of trying! It would be great if the flip 5 is a little more straight forward with less glue
When it was apart did you happen to take any stills of both sides of the board or note what the model of amplifier chip? I've got a project I'm working on with mine and was hoping to not tear it all down that deeply unless I need to.

Maybe it has dual voice coils? I’m not really sure
Maybe it blocks static charge or whirlpool currents.
It has a tweeter in the middle of the mono speaker, i have the white flip 5 great performance
