this was so helpful!! my gosh!! i felt so stressed because of all the other videos I have watched but getting the perspective from a fellow american, who didn't apply to oxbridge, AND wrote about history, it has really helped get my head in the game :^^))
hi nola! this is very helpful. i am anxious with my drafts, so it is very comforting to know someone else felt happy with their first too. also, your PS is amazing?!? i'm not interested in history but your PS got me hooked till the end! congrats on going to UCL! i'm applying to UCL and KCL too, grateful to stumble across your video!
hey I'm applying to ucl too, congratulations on the acceptance and I absolutely loved your essay. i'd give you admission just on the basis of that essay if it were upon me
I am currently in the process of writing my personal statement and your video is helping very much! I also related to your story as I am myself adopted from china! thank you for your video
Hey I just got an offer for physics at ucl for sept 2024 and i'm putting it as my firm!! I was really stuck between ucl and edinburgh but binging your videos definitely helped sway me (my heart's in london anyway) Are you going to be at ucl for that academic year?
I watched your video twice to get a rough idea how to write an excellent personal statement, not to plagiarise. To be honest, I am totally lost on how to write a personal statement to pursue a double degree in History & Modern Languages. I have drafted a personal statement and it has exceeded the maximum 4000 characters. For the History parts, I typed mostly about what I know/read about various topics as well as the books I have read, hence, exceeding 4000 characters. Currently doing my research in order to write better as the deadline is fast approaching. I would like you advice on how to write an excellent personal statement like yours, what should I type & how to write the ending. Are you able to help me out here, hope to get a reply from you.
Hi! Since you're over the character limit I would suggest focusing on only a couple of texts and go into depth on those topics. Remember to relate everything in your personal statement back to your degree and maybe this approach will help you cut out some words. Good luck!
Hey there queen . I was thinking of doing my bachelor's in London. I have a few questions regarding the admission process. Would u mind answering them 🥺? How can I contact u ? Do u have ig or something? I just completed my grade 12 in June.

@@nolaamak Thank you for the tip, much appreciated. How to write the ending? What to say in the last paragraph ?
@@ElseCatherine I would add extra circulars that you did in the last paragraph, there are lots of advice websites online as well!
Can you please elaborate more on UCAS
yeah sure! which part?
