Partially right but this was intended for people who get stuck with toy handcuffs that trick doesn't work with real ones and also the tape and zip ties technique is used in emergency situations like being kidnapped or held hostage and need to break free to escape the criminals, as criminals use this kind of tools to keep people as hostages.
They didn’t even do it right! You gotta pull the top ones SUPER tight so there’s no gapping at the top that’s annoying and bothersome. And then the bottom ones should seal the top ones in so they can’t go anywhere. It hasn’t saved my life but it made it a lot more enjoyable!

The segment showing proper hand placement on a car steering wheel is incorrect. The old " hands at 10:00 and 2:00" used to be accurate, however, this has changed over the years to 9:00 and 3:00 or even 8:00 and 4:00 due to the number of injuries that can result to the hands in the event that the driver side airbag deploys. It has been determined that a 9-3 or 8-4 is safer because the hands and arms will be directed down or out to the sides during airbag deployment rather than up and out as would happen with 10:00 and 2:00.

The idea that I got from the thumbnail is that if your in an elevator you shouldn't press the floor that you're going to, you should press all of them, which will obviosly save your life if your in a bad situation like if there is a tiger in the elevator or if the elevator has just lost power and a cord has ripped and your flying down the shaft.

It has been determined that a 9-3 or 8-4 is safer because the hands and arms will be directed down or out to the sides during airbag deployment rather than up and out as would happen with 10:00 and 2:00.
