  • A Giant Ichneumon Wasp, Megarhyssa atrata female drills her long genitalia through the trunk of a tree to sting and paralyze the larva of a horntail wood wasp deep below the surface. This music is a good choice for this style of informational short RUclips video. Probably also royalty free and easy to find. However it's a comedic effect as well due to the innocent vibe it puts off in contrast to the paralyzing of bug larvae and eventual consumption of them while they are still living, that is taking place.

Does it sting, and if it does, does it do it with its long tubes to deposit eggs?

While we understand that everyone has different tastes in music, we kind of like the natural rhythms that comes within nature and thought this was a good fit. We completely get it if you're in a different camp of thought on this though!🙂 Thanks for the comment.
