Turbo super charger is very essential spare of any diesel as well as petrol engine. You can say it is lungs of an engine. It fitted at end of an engine with exhaust line. When exhaust gases release from engine combustion cylinder and passes through TSC. Turbine blade start rotates. In Alco diesel engine, this turbine speed is about 19000 to 21000 RPM and in ABB turbo super charger this RPM is about 25000 to 27000. When turbine shaft rotate then impeller also rotate at same speed/RPM because turbine and impellers are connected with a common shaft.
When impeller rotate it create vacuum and suck fresh air for charging of engine for combustion. This fresh air enter into impeller eye after the filtration. Impller boost air pressure and supply at air gallery of engine block through a after cooler. From here booster air enter into the combustion chamber through air manifolds during suction stroke of the engine.
