about the same I want to say shipped a few items to someone I know out there and yes shipping cost more than the items but I knew that going in.
tried whatnot and not a fan, seeing all the other retro gamers (and phoenix) use it I was hoping for good deals but the prices for commons are above ebay at times. Its good for people with a following and looking to resell. For the average joe its the opposite effect of almost losing money if you don't get enough people in a room to bid.

The unfortunate thing is, most of your auctions will be over $100 in value easily unless it's a stack of commons - which will probably be over $75. Whatnot is great for people who have money to burn on overpriced items.
Yeah, I don't know what the people who bid are thinking. I'm happy for Rick still and I know it's not anything he can control, but it's definitely crazy to watch people bid that much over value on stuff.
That digimon world and Spiderman 2 are actually worth $100+ Spiderman 2 only because its the black label the greatest hits removed twin towers because of 9/11 because of this the black label version that came out before is rare hard to find and very expensive hes lucky he even found a copy of the game at all let alone get money out of it i would keep 1 of them just because of that alone

Seemed like a whole lot of advertising for what not, which seems to be what the channel is focusing on. Really like the $10 video game collection videos.
Fully agree almost seems unwatchable at times.
You got me onto Whatnot, but I can’t be buying stuff in your streams. Too many viewers mean too many bidders, and too many bidders mean games selling for too much money. Still love you, Rick.
I feel you there always check around the smaller streams after Rick or Phoenix go off the air. I have done that a few times and there are really solid sellers after words with less than 50 people who do $1 start offs and you can get some good deals on some good merch.

It's because resellers that have a large following can sell for way more than on RUclips.
Basically leverage "fame" for higher prices.
You will notice that all the youtube resellers that have tried it got way over normal values and are suddenly hooked on the app

Oh wait a second, I know that piece of music that was used at the 16 minute mark (The Big Sweep). That was a piece I asked SpellingPhailer to do for a project I was gonna do way back in 2009/2010 which I left to the wayside but use for my other stuff. As a fellow retro game fan though, it's cool hearing it used so keep being amazing. You get my sub :)
If you have the dough to drop on a haul that size, you have enough capital to buy a bigger house. If not, you must be carrying a shitload of debt.

It would be really cool if I came across a butt load of Nintendo Switch games at a garage sale! For some reason, “Pokémon Legends Arceus” was completely sold out at one of the Walmart locations that I went to today, even though I didn’t have enough money saved up for it yet.

This is a serious come up if you’re a vintage game collector. You’re videos just keep getting better and better. If you have Wonder Boy in Monster World for Sega I’ll buy it. That’s my all time favorite for Sega.

Global Gladiators was a staple for me. But before that Mick n Mack were in McDonaldland on the Amiga, both with great soundtracks.
Sonic and Knuckles is still my favorite Sonic game. I love the simple artwork and would love to have that in my collection.

But this feels like your heading into a infomercial direction lately with all the what not you always talk about and with no chance of people with smaller means afforded a chance to win on your auctions. Yep, this channel is less and less about bargain hunting and more about money bags hoarders getting more and more whilst enriching themselves.

I think we all as collectors have that collection we know we can start down that rabbit whole until we get more space for me its video game figures I love them I always have I have a few and already the pushing at my turtles and movie collection and im running out of space hopefully if I get a bigger room I'll be able to get some of the bigger and nicer figures and statues

Technically, the copyright laws state you can use backed up media of items you own only if you created the media backup from your media. Just a small nugget concerning that super everdrive. Awesome haul though. I will be there for the auction.

Yrs ago at a Retro game con, I got the Spider-Man animated series game for $6, CIB sticker has some bleed thru, not gonna complain!
If you want to make the most you should so most of it single or double and just keep adding stuff to the ones you do every month.
I was home schooled and my mom used that mario teaches typing as our typing curriculum! I was so bad at it and still am a terrible typer.
Not a big fan of WhatNot and this was a 20 minute commercial for it. Might need to unsub if the content keeps going in this direction.

You really can’t collect it all. I’m running out of room too. I really need to check out WhatNot. I can’t imagine finding a lot the size of the one in this video. I’m going through some toy lots I bought too and I want to keep them but I have nowhere to put any of it!
