I have a queastion.. how much better is a torque/acceleration on Thunder 2 compared to original Thunder? I can not find an answer anywhere. There are last original Thunders in stock, cause they are discontinued. So I have to decide quickly... Thank you so much!
I've just ordered dualtron thunder 2 a couple days ago (pre ordered) it's not in stock yet. But I've been informed it's currently at sea and will arrive in the second half of this month. I'm so excited I cant wait!!! It looks amazing, I have no experience on one of these so I will take my time on it until I get better.
Solid review! I’ve had mine for all of a month now! Loving every bit of it as it’s an outstanding Upgrade from my Kaabo Wolf Warrior. Only drawback is the creaky stem sounds!😖 I have to get around to fixing that!😅🤙🏽
I've done it like 3 times now, before I realized the worst sound came from where the two rings are, stem still gotta be fixed though, just make sure and use silicone spray and teflon tape... PS I also live in the bay (Daly City) and I've seen all your videos here too, those at the bay Bridge are impressive, maybe we can race one day 😁
@@JoyRideJay11 Let's do it man 🤣, I've been trying to find people with big scooters to go on long rides with, cause I've seen a few videos of people gathering at twins peaks here in SF and looks like they all ride together, just yesterday I rode all the way to the embarcadero (Giants stadium) and got it up to 55+mph for the first time, but I realized I do need a damper, just ordered it last night too, and I've been waiting for the seat and fingerprint reading lock which should be shipped out in the next week or so...
Getting my thunder 2 soon plus I already got my thunder 1 which is good . Yep I love these two scooters, they’re both good looking scooters. Thanks for the review bro 😎
Great comparison! Not a fan of flashy lights, but they can be turned off. How do you feel Thunder 2 compares to Bronco Xtreme 11 in overall value?? Bronco has steering damper and sinewave controller.
Good question. I haven't ridden a Bronco yet, but am a big fan of sinewave controllers, steering dampers and shocks with adjustable damping. My main concern with owning a Bronco is that I'd be nervous about the company being around a few years from now to supply parts. I guess I could have the same concern about the NAMI, now that I think about it. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Very true, but from all of the reviews i have seen bronco looks to be a quality build and i feel company will be around for a while. Patiently waiting to have mine delivered.
This. A LOT of wheel spin. I have a riding buddy that owns the Thunder 2. On the lowest setting he's always peeling out. Glad I decided on the Eagle Pro which allows adjustment on the fly between single or dual wheels or settings 1-3 and eco/turbo. Love it.
Hi picked up a Thunder 3 last night I ordered from a NYC shop, charged it all night & wanted to lift stem to find metal part that hold silver locking pins $ set screws missing metal on both sides, does Minimotors have a return policy, this looks extremely dangerous???
I just bought the thunder 1 for $3300 brand new at Steve scooters here in Miami fl by Wynwood and let me tell you the experience I’ve had so far is by far the best. The speed, mobility, battery life, the range is mind blowing. I mean it has 3 speeds and I can only use 2 because the 3rd speed is way to fast for me. I like going mid 35mph to 40 after that is just feels to fast. I would recommend it to anyone. After having it for just 3 days thinking of upgrading to the thunder 2 already. Mini motors take my money 💰 ❤
Hi Alon, It can be double-clicked right at launch or once fully underway. In the acceleration graph ruclips.net/video/JN-L4tolGeQ/видео.html , the middle curve is where I double click at 50mph, and the top curve is where I double click right from the start. If I had more time before the review, I would have done some testing to see if you can double click at a stop and then sit there for a minute and still get the effect. And then, of course, how long it persists. I'm still really curious about it. -Paul
@Dom Dizzle it just stays stable at any speed sometimes at lower speeds i can pick up a phone call and only drive with 1 hand i wouldn’t recommend doing that tho 😅
Nothing is as bright as the headlight on the Wolf scooters! :-) The headlights are down low and not super bright. It would need an extra light for fast night riding. turn signals are definitely only in the back. -Paul
Hi, greetings from peru 🤗. Guys what would you recommend? Dualtrom victor, kaboo wolf warrior x pro or vsett10+? Please i really want your opinion, best of luck in your future videos 🤗
It's truly hard to go wrong with any of these three. Just depends on how you wil use it. The Victor is amazing speed range and portability. We prefer the Warrior X base over the pro because it has a sinewave controller and better throttle control than the X Pro, Victor or Vsett. The Vsett is beautiful and arm-yanking fast at take off. They are all really great scooters, and honestly all scooters I would be happy to own. -Paul
The main thing is throttle response. Scooters with sinewave controllers tend to have much more gradual throttle response at low speed which helps a lot on 72V scooters. We end up fiddling around with P-settings a lot more, trying to find a happy medium for throttle control and acceleration. With the sinewave controllers, setting all output to max is fine because you can still easily control everything with the throttle. -Paul
Square wave is a little more abrupt right when you first poke the throttle. Here's a demo I did on the Wolf King (Square wave) and Wolf King GT (sinewave) ruclips.net/video/7oousNwubV8/видео.html -Paul
A 100lb scooter? No thanks. Haha. I'm more the portable/reasonable speed person. If you live downstairs and absolutely need such top speeds (who really does?) it seems really nice. Online forums are filled with people going way too fast on these kinds of scooters, and bragging about their mad max "gear". A few months later they usually upload their hospital photos. Haha Great review. Well built and nice scooter.
The mad max gear is because they're going to be taking huge risks! I on the other hand plan on CRUISING through neighborhoods, bridges and states! Its not about the speed but the range for my use!
What do you think of the double click throttle? Game Changer? Nice to have? Or gimmick?

One big difference that wasn’t mentioned was that you can toggle between rear and all wheel drive on the Thunder 1, the Thunder 2 did away with that.
