Correction: 2:09, I was able to get in touch with the QuickJack customer service team. Turns out I ordered the wrong size for my Porsche. I have the 5000 TLX and not the TL. The TLX is the longer version and is why I am having the issue with it touching the wheel. I'll be getting the correct QuickJack size for my vehicle. Stay tuned!
I like the content. Your Porche is just beautiful. I really like old cars with a touch of modern parts. Guns are one of my main hobbies, and old cars are there too.
What are your thoughts on the Quickjack? Costco is running a sale and I’m thinking about picking one up for DIY maintenance. Is it worth it as opposed to regular jack/jackstands?
I like them a lot but I can’t use it without them touching the front tires on my 997, which sucks. Waiting to hear back from them about this and to see if there is a work around.
@@RogerBarrera Ahh gotcha, didnt mean to sound like a dick haha, love the videos though brother, huge supporter of the channel and products! Keep em coming!
@@RogerBarrera you’re bouji AF! lol you appreciate the finer things in life. Yeah I’m not really a car guy. But… one day I will have a 911. Oh and I dig your shooting videos. I also make lots of shooting videos. lol
@@jacksongil9123 oil change? Probably like any other vehicle. 150$ or so. But maintenance is probably a bit more. Needs to be done through a licensed Porsche mechanic.
You are not using the lift properly….i have done all 4 in one go several times using the quick jack. Hopefully someone else doesn’t fall for this and do unnecessary work.

So the 5000TL system is too long for the 997.1? First time I’ve seen that..
Yeah I spent all night researching posts on Facebook groups but no one else seems to be having the issue. Not sure if I’m missing something.

Dont really have to loosen them first if you already have an impact drill

I wonder how much are regular maintenance for 911s or oil change?

Please let me know what I’m missing. Which ever way we put the new 5000TL it makes contact with the wheels towards the front of the Jack.
