    Great finds man. I love that you put footage of your wooden handle breaking. I never see it in anyone else's videos, but it happens to me a decent amount. Keep it up...love the underwater footage.

      My heart sank when that handle broke! It probably cost me a few really good finds in the rocks! It does happen from time to time, especially if you detect as much as I do! LOL! Thanks for watching BeamDigger! More good stuff to come!

    Great video with some amazing finds...!The water is so crystal clear...It's nice to know that there are still places left of unspoiled beauty...I just found your channel this week and I just wanted to say that I'mreally enjoying your posts...!I was wondering what the costs were like there...?I would love to take my wife there someday.I'm a disabled Veteran and our only income is what little bit I receive fromSocial Security Disability...I would also like you to know that growing up as a young teen I got intoMetal Detecting...I bugged my father for a few years to get me one, ( back in the mid 70's), andfinally he got me one for Christmas, an old Compass, they didn't even have discrimination yet...!Anyway, he ended up getting hooked like me and became a dealer for them and Garrett forseveral years.He finally got out of the business, before doing so, he purchased Garrett's newest and bestDetector, with discrimination, for himself and I was left with my original one, I still have it todayThough it hasn't worked since I was about 17...I keep saying I'm going to see about getting it fixed some day...Watching your videos has rekindled my love of the hobby and I'm going to start saving topurchase a new detector....!Hopefully, I'll have enough saved in a couple of years to get one, I'm thinking about the GarrettAT Pro...I would love to have a PI Minelab but I'd never be able to afford one...Any suggestions for a good detector in the AT Pro's price range...?I'm fascinated with the depth capability of a PI machine and would like one that I can use bothon land and under water...!Thank you again for sharing your adventures with us and for any suggestions you could provide...!Happy New Year to you and your wife...!May it be a very prosperous one...!Also, I'm sorry that this was so long...Troy

      @AmericanDiggerInEurope  7 лет назад

      Hi Tony! Thanks for your
      kind words! If I were you, I'd get an AT Pro. It fits your price range and is a
      very good machine! I started off with one! It doesn't work well in salt water,
      but still, it's an all-around best choice for the money! It's waterproof to 10
      feet, so unless you're SCUBA Diving, it should suit you just fine! Thanks for
      watching and commenting! GL and HH!

      She's Croatian actually! Bulgarian and Croatian languages are very similar. When I was is Bulgaria last year, I was able to communicate with the Bulgarian locals by speaking Croatian with no problem whatsoever! Thanks for watching and commenting! GL and HH!

      At least half of the countries in the Balkans have 80% similiar language. - It comes from Cyrillic.

    At 1 1/2 minute mark you say something which concerns me a great deal, your wife said something like "I can keep it?" Your reply is "Of course you can keep it" Don't you try to find the owner of something like that which not only has a monetary value but more importantly a sentimental one. I have managed to reunite several ring and owners over the years. Only after I have advertised it for three months will I keep it. Anyway I guess we all have a different value system. I could be way out of line here and if so I apologise. Maybe one is allowed to keep stuff found in the ocean. Cheers.

    • @AmericanDiggerInEurope
      @AmericanDiggerInEurope  6 лет назад +1

      I do return rings. This was found in the sea in December months after the tourist season was over. If the ring has info in it that can ID the owner, of course I make every effort to find the owner. In most of my videos, there is a banner that states, "I return rings! If you can identify the info on the inside of your ring, I will return it to you." Not all rings have any info in it whatsoever. I don't sell my finds. Everything I've ever found is still in my possession. If someone can ID their ring, I will GLADLY return it. GL and HH!
