It's January of 2024 and these instructions are still 100% accurate. Great work, and thank you!
Thanks this was super easy! Just switched my old iPhone 10 to my iPhone 14 pro. Took less than 5 minutes!
Thanks for this!! Picking up my 14 Pro Max tomorrow and I was wondering what steps I needed to take because I’ve seen a few posts about how the ‘transfer method’ doesn’t really work for many people.
Great and on the money with this video. You nailed exactly what I needed and I really appreciate it my dude!
THANK YOU!! Best tips as no other "how to" worked....
Thank you so much i was struggling to transfer my eSIM but u saved me so much time
Thanks so much for this tutorial, I got an error message from Mint when I initially tried to set up my new iPhone 14 but this worked like a charm!
thank you, this was so easy to understand and very helpful.
Dude, thanks for this video!
Totally worked! Thanks for sharing
thank you for this easy tutorial!!!!! waiting on my iphone 13 hoping I have no issues, ordered directly from Apple
You saved me from this hassle. Thank you Stetson! I'm about to literally get the 13 pro max tomorrow
You are welcome, Josh!
@@StetsonDoggett iPhone = Icomply to all corporate nonsensical BS aimed to secure profits and sht on customers
Literally??? Lol😂
@@kyliefan7 14 going all esim. They gonna need it big time
Thx, just got i14 pro, this video super helpful. :)
Thanks!
Man, it’s crazy,thank you so much 🤪
Bookmarking this for future reference when I buy an iPhone 15 next year
thank you so much much for this
THANK YOU 🙏 SO MUCH!!
Hey Stetson, great video! I have a eSIM from carrier "X". I saw you did it from SIM (US Mobile) to SIM (Mint) in one of your videos. I am wondering if I can port my current number from carrier "X" to Mint mobile using Mint mobile's eSIM. Do you know if it's possible?
Looks like this is the answer to my question of how do I get my service backup and running on my current Apple iPhone 11 Pro (used as backup) to a new Apple iPhone 14 Pro should I kill it like I have done years ago to a previous iPhone. That time all I did was pop the SIM card and move it to an older iPhone that I had access to until I could get it repaired/replaced.
Preciate ya brutha
Have a iPhone 11 on esim with Verizon and ordered iPhone 13 pro. From my research Verizon is actually providing a physical sim; however, I don’t want to use the physical sim. How do go about making this transition as intuitive as possible?
Very useful for the the iPhone 14 Pro Max
My question is I currently have a 13 mini with a SIM card in it. And thinking about buying and 14 pro max that has esim only. I want to be able to switch back and forth between both phones throughout the year. Can I go back a forth between SIM card for the 13 min and esim for the 14 pro max. And if so what problems will I run into? I have mint mobile too by the way.
So what did you do with your old SIM card
Please do how to use DUAL SIM (nano -SIM and eSIM on Visible with iphone 13. First time using any iphone so I know I will be lost. Thank you very much.
So can you take your old psychical SIM card out and put it in another iPhone and it’ll work? Or would I have to buy a esim and get rid of my psychical SIM card to use a new iPhone ?
So are you given a new number once you ordered another esim?
I'm betraying the opensource eco system and moving to an iPhone 12 to test the waters. Although it does have a physical SIM, I plan to use eSIM for the service. This video was helpful in showing me how to do it before my phone arrives.
Mint mobile still working on it far as the iPhone 13. Can only text and call on wifi only for now. Ive been doing steps for hours and did like this videos too.Mint says they have to figure out the 13's.
You transfer it like this, on the new iPhone set up screen, put the old iPhone close to each other and press continue on the old iPhone, once done, scan the code and set up from there, it will ask you to transfer the cellular plan, and that’s another way to transfer it directly from the iPhone
I currently have a Samsung, but will be getting an iPhone, do I need to "buy" the free eSim?
I would like to see such a video for US Mobile...
Hey, it just gives me a "Change Device" menu that tells me to physically move the SIM, which I have already done.
How would you transfer Android to iphone 14 using esim
hello, when I go to that option of ordering an esim it requires me to enter a payment method… And I am logged in into the same account. Help
I don't have that option in "change device"?
Hello it was asking for a code sent to the Previous mint
So, are these two phone share the same phone number? I mean are you going to use your current phone number on the new phone only?
I plan to buy a new phone, and wonder how I can keep my current phone number on the new phone.
When I checkout it tells me that it will send an sms code to my mint mobile number which is not set up yet. I dont get the step 2 option. If you have any tips around, I would appreciate it.
Is possible have 2 mint mobile lines?
With AT&T , I could have them move or make a eSIM for a iPhone before it’s even out of the box, and it auto sets it up and uses it once your halfway thru initial setup
How would I do this on Visible esim?
So does the number stay the same?
I am not using Iphone. Do you think even android phones (eligible for Mints mobile) work like them? Please reply to me.
what happens if you lose your old iphone, or if it's broken, stolen, etc? is this still the same process?
Hi ! I’m here in Colorado , what mobile carrier you think is the best ? I’m using T-mobile (sprint before merge ) now , the data service is very bad , sometime slow and sometime just not working at all . Thinking to switch to Verizon… what’s your thought? Thanks .
Visible prepaid
Hoe do you open the new iPhone 15 to be able to change the sim card?
Can you switch back and forth between your two devices with old SIM and eSIM?
No. Only one SIM can be active at a time.
@@StetsonDoggett Got it, but then is there a way to deactivate eSIM and switch back to the old SIM?
Yes. You will need to order a new physical SIM card.
What about phone number transfer?
If the old phone has a physical SIM card and you want to switch to esim in new phone is the process the same?
Yes.
It doesn’t say it in my app it’s just giving steps for physical SIM card
Mine DID EXACTLY THE SAME THING!! WOULDN’T work the apple way!
Android?
Did you receive the qr code by email?
Yes, you get emailed a QR code. If you’re on iPhone, it’s possible your eSIM profile will download automatically.
Does not work. Activate Esim for my iPhone 14 was a disaster. Mint mobile bad. Move to different carrier
Yet VZW, AT&T and TMobile will allow eSim swaps for free. This charging for the convenience has to stop.
It gives me a error message why is that
Me too, did you figure that out?
iphone to android?
I got esim activated by transfering a tmobile number to mint on iPhone 11. Only text works, not calls on cellular or wifi. Spent hours with agents, they keep resetting the networks and ask me to restart phone. Horrible service. I dont have a physical sim card, becuase they told me i dont need it, I should be able to work on esim only.
In late April of 2024 the Mint Mobile app doesn't even mention esims!
Get-to-the-point as the original method didn't work .... Start video at 1:34 You're Welcome!
So, after the first 2 free eSims, everytime I want to use one of my other phones, I got to pay $3 to transfer my service/plan. Who thought this was a great idea... Oh yes, that's right - Apple - the source of all retarded innovations.
Seems to be a Mint Mobile thing as I can move my AT&T eSIM without being charged. Ditto with my Red Pocket eSIM. But my Visible and Mint eSIMs must go through their respective apps.
