    After the whole debacle at the world championship in Budapest Hungry 2023. The incompetent and disgraceful behavior of Coach Wilson and demonizing of T. Tracey and the horrible Management of the teams. The JAAA has yet again placed Maurice Wilson for Head coach to the Olympic 2024 . Tell me if this is not straight politics and favoritism in this JAAA administration. With Jamaica having 2 of the best coaches in the world. The JAAA has selected Maurice Wilson SMH. I have lost faith in the JAAA. I am calling for renewal of the entire board of JAAA. It is obvious they are not working in the best interest of Jamaica and our athletes but for personal gain and selfish recognition. Both Stephen Francis and Glen Mills have openly rebuked both JOA and JAAA of their policy and administration of athletics specifically. This should not go unnoticed by the terrible management.

    Do you two do your homework or know Olympic history? How dare you guys not mention that Frano the great is undefeated in the women’s 100 m at the Olympics since 2008!! Rub that in, and he’s about to stay undefeated when sherika winns the Gold!

      Franno is not Shericka’s Coach. IT’S PAUL FRANCIS! Shericka has mentioned it on numerous occasions and y’all keep ignoring it because it doesn’t fit your narrative. Paul trains her, travels with her…Franno himself at interviews when asked about Shericka, frequently answers with “From what Paul tells me”

    Sportmax - Please consider omitting or lowering the volume of that background music when the commentators start speaking. Lance announcing the names of the athletes while the music is playing at that volume, takes away from what is being said

    Jamaica couldn’t find a true patriotic newscaster to be on tv. Shame on Jamaica. It’s really gone to , having a foreigner to be doing sports news on Jamaican TV. Get it together Jamaica. There are many, bright, intelligent, capable, able Jamaicans to do this job.
    It’s a Jamaica job. We dont need a foreigner, a Trini to be doing the news or sports in our homeland. Jamaican selling out the country to foreigners who don’t deserve to be in these positions. We need Jamaicans doing these jobs. We need our Jamaican Treasures on our TV screens.

      I made an article recently and Brittany was included,I've been harping about her doing the 200m if that injuries is derailing her chances of getting fit and quick enough for hurdling. She is a very good sprinter.But our timber topping ladies are compulsory hurdlers, unlike their American counterparts who are enthusiastic about doing some flats including sprint relays, that's a no no no for our ladies, the same thing can be said about the men. Kericka qualifies for the World jrs, she should be leading our jr charge,her (11.16) did at champs 22' .Because of this pro; thing, our athletes has gotten big-headed.

    • @anthonybailey3511
      @anthonybailey3511 12 дней назад

      No to say she's not fast enough for the 200 meters, but it would have been a tough battle for her to make the team in the 200 meters. I still think she can break the world record in the hurdles if she run a clean race.

      Level is already a part of the team, so he can be chosen for the relay. Jelani is chosen in order that they can increase the number of athletes..

    • @Jav3887
      @Jav3887 12 дней назад +3

      I think it is a strategy. They are instructed to bring a 5 man team, so they do so with the knowledge of already having Levell on the trip. That way they will have an additional person. If they had listed levell, it would eliminate one of the athletes.

    Since is JAAA we are dealing with we have to see some politics and spite. There are two athletes who the JAAA have screwed and we have to wonder why.
    Kemba Nelson she beat Alana Reid in the 100m but she is not chosen, they chose Reid. I wonder what she did to them? Not show up for World Relays. JAAA couldn't be that petty, right?
    Jelani Walker a who at the JAAA him mess with now? He beat Jelani Gordon in the 100m but they pick Gordon ahead of him. Why then have a trials? Just tell those you want to spite not to show up. Sportmax that was not even discussed by you and you suppose to be a media house. You are not helping to expose the nastiness.

    A lot of this “Kishane Thompson is the favorite” talk seems premature. Yes, he’s an exciting prospect. But has no exp at World & Olympic level. Now if u don’t think that the entire world watching & performing for 3 rounds internationally adds a higher level of pressure, you’re daft!
    Noah Lyles has been there and responded to that pressure before. Would I like to see Kishane win it for Jamaica? Absolutely. But I also remember Oblique running blazing times at trials. Then always coming up short internationally.
    I also know that all this talk of “he shut it down, if he ran 100%, it will be 9.6 is a bit naive.
    If I had to drop $$$ right now, I would put it on Noah
