He is so gorgeous! And he's a decent human being as well. The book he wrote is so insightful. I could read it over & over. I read the English version as I don't understand enough Swedish to read a whole book. But I love listening to him in Swedish & English. He's my favorite actor ever!

Now I'm waiting for Michael's new book "Dansa for Oss" to come out in the States. It was released in Sweden in March. I tweeted him and asked if was going to be translated into English and he answered "Hopefully soon". His first book was released into English 5 years after being released in Swedish. That's a long time to wait! Good luck translating! Do you use Google?

Thanks I keep checking on Amazon but they never seem to have it. I don't know why it is so expensive unless it is the import but for such a small paperback it makes no sense. I will keep plodding along with translating it. I am enjoying it so much.

just wondering what got you interested in Michael? I knew nothing about him until Dec. 2012. I read The girl with the dragon tattoo. Then saw the millennium trilogy on Netflix. I fell in love with Mikael Blomkvist.. Since then I have bought some of his movies from Amazon & watched some others on youtube. I just can't get enough of him. I really enjoyed his book also. I have a lot of Swedish ties but

Yes It seems far too long to wait for a book. It took a long time form me to get the Swedish version so I chose to Translate and I am slow. I use a selection of Swedish/English Dictionaries and I have been using Rosetta Stone to learn the Language. I am just a procrastinator. I have days that I hardly use the help and other days it seems I have to look up each word. I will complete it thought as I am enjoying it very much.

Hi Rita I found "Just After Dreaming" (the English version) @booktopia in Australia on line. Since then I have seen it on Amazon and ebay. Shipping from Australia was very expensive but the price was comparable on Amazon. Under $50.00. I've read the book about 10 times. I love this guy! Hope this helps.

Do you follow Michael Nyqvist on twitter? He tweets in Swedish and English. I use google translate when he uses Swedish and I sometimes think it's not quite right. but it's fun to keep up with what he's doing and he's a really down to earth guy.

I have not seen the American version of GWDT. I have read that it was not near as good as the original Swedish version. I will see it some time, but not in a hurry. I might be brave like you & get Michael's last book in Swedish & try to translate it myself. Probably by the time I'd get done it would be available in English!!!

Until the moment the book becomes available in English, I will not live to see it :)) But about the Russian language in general there is no speech.

I love following his twitter but I agree the translations are confusing. I try to get as much as I can reading the Swedish and when i hit a word I can't translate I hit the translate button.

I read the books in 2011 after refusing to believe they were so good that they stayed on the hardback best seller for so long. I got an e-book for Christmas and bought the first two books. I read the first in a week and then the second and then I had to get the third and asked myself why did I wait so long. I then waited to see the Daniel Craig version and was very disappointed that his character seemed too hard. So I then watched the Sverige ver and by the time the GWDT was half over I was fan

The US film took a different slant on somethings like he had a daughter. It missed something though. I have been taking Rosetta Stone lessons and I have 3 dictionaries and I am still slow but I haven't put the time in that I should. I have had a lot of distractions this year and I hope I will get on with the book once they are over.

He also told me it was coming to the US but we seem to be in a void for Swedish books. I have a list of them I would like to read and also soundtracks I would like to buy but no luck. I found some but they won't ship outside of Europe and so I am waiting for a friend to find them for me. She was an exchange student with my daughter in 1988-89
