Thank you for review ,it helped a lot.I noticed you have guitar plug in and out I play the uke.should i have both connected? Are these all connected to amp?
Nice review, really needs to have a momentary option switch, switching on and of while standing up makes it hard to see and can be hard to time, plus recording solo the mic picks up the clicks
Yes, very well. I used it tonight on my gig through a variety of styles, jazz, blues, r & b, creating vocal choruses at lib. I thank PJ for the video instructions that helped me to get started!
Once you’re re using harmony, your gonna need other processing. If you want 1/2 voice harmony, doubling, Optional pitch correction, some very nice FX (Hall, Room, Slap, Echo, and 2 combo fx) in one box, no matter how much Boss promotes their Harmonizers, I think the best sounding box is still TC Helicon’s Harmony G-XT. The chord following feature in it is pretty damn reliable, too. You can find ‘em for under $200, IF you can find one.
@@medinsmakemusic What do you mean by saying like this in English ?? *TC Helicon - Harmony is BETTER or ....... Flamma FV04 - Harmony is better ??* I would like to use one of those HARMONIZERS, but without any assistance of any instrument ..... only using dynamic SHURE SM58 microphone !!
I’m using the TC Helicon liveplay and it’s great but the problem I have when I play outside especially when it’s hot it gets overheated and then it shuts off. I’m looking for an analog hammonizer that doesn’t do that. Would this be a good option?
so.....I have the Corrector, and it took a few weeks to get used to hearing "2 voices" in my in ears....how does this effect your processing of the "voices in your head?
No disrespect at all but the harmony sounded a little flat on the original song. I have this peddle also but haven’t messed with it much. Thanks for the info though. The reverb sounds good
That has to be broken or misconfigured. I kind of like the tone, but it's singing the wrong pitches every now and then. You've set it to G major key, according to the manual mode 4 is "3TH H" (whatever _that_ means) and when you sing an A, it harmonizes with C# ? 5:14 What. That's clearly wrong. Have you tested with an instrument as vocal input to see if the logic is broken? Anyway, IMO a scale-based vocal harmonizer has to listen to chord changes and figure out chromatic alterations to the scale, in order to not ruin songs. That's why the TC Harmony Singer only picks chord tones from the guitar input for its harmonies, I think.
I did it, i tested it with my piano after several failures with my voice... After the piano test, I can confirme you that the harmony is totally random. I contacted the brand to have some information. I also read that the TC Harmony Singer had also tune problems. Maybe the conclusion is you can't have a real functional harmony pedal. Anyway also as reverb pedal it's not that expensive.
I haven’t tried it with a keyboard, but I think it’s certainly worth a try. And the song is called Prayer by Breakthrough. Here’s the link. www.tinyurl.com/prayerbybreakthrough
Better off with a tc helicon harmony singer 2 which this is a complete knockoff of .....it features all these functions plus optional compression and mild pitch correction for vocals if you want that .....just doesnt give you instrument reverb like this does just vocals but i have better reverb on a dedicated multi effect stomp box
thanks for making this demo , this is the cheapest vocal harmonizer around here .... the music you played is beautiful
Thank you! That's very kind of you. If you want to hear the song, I linked out to it in the video description.
Thank you for your answer, I´ll take your recomendation
@@flproducciones9811 I’m glad I could help!
If you’re doing a demo there should be a lot more playing than talking
I literally couldn’t even find any playing as I skimmed through the video
Agree
Love the song in the demo! Yes and amen!

Thank you. Useful 😊
A really good review!
Thanks 🎉
You’re welcome!
Hello, Could you tell me if the FV04 Work with an audiotrack and a Keyboard, Congratulations for the video
Thank you! I would not recommend using it with a keyboard. You can certainly try, but it seems to do better with acoustic guitar.
Tks!! Great video!
Thank you!
Why didn't you demonstrate the mode and the ket
Harmonies follow the guitar?
No, it doesn’t seem to analyze what the guitar is doing.
Is there something similar to this but with echo or delay as well?
Thank you for review ,it helped a lot.I noticed you have guitar plug in and out I play the uke.should i have both connected? Are these all connected to amp?
You can use any instrument with it, but I would recommend acoustic stringed instruments since that’s what it’s made for.
That thing works with chords instead of notes. Your voice also has to be in the chord. I have one. takes a little practice. good song.
Nice review, really needs to have a momentary option switch, switching on and of while standing up makes it hard to see and can be hard to time, plus recording solo the mic picks up the clicks
Does it works using the microphone only? no guitar or other instruments plugin
Yes it does.
Yes, very well. I used it tonight on my gig through a variety of styles, jazz, blues, r & b, creating vocal choruses at lib. I thank PJ for the video instructions that helped me to get started!
Thanks for sharing sir
Thanks for watching. I’m still getting this RUclips thing figured out. So it’s just good to know that folks are checking it out.
PJ do you have to have charge in all the time you are using it? TIA
Hey, Christine. Yes, it has to be plugged into power the entire time you use it.

Agreed. My sister has a TC Helicon and that thing is the knees of all the bees.

Can it be used with out using a guitar
As far as I can tell, the guitar doesn’t affect the pedal’s analysis of your voice.
Super like
Does it have a feature like a Boss VE 2 that depends its harmony at the chords of the guitar?
Honestly, it doesn’t seem like it does. I’m wondering if it relies on the auto tune pedal in order to function properly.

Honestly, I’ve never used it outside so I couldn’t say.
Is it possible to have longer, say several minutes, vocal sustain with this harmonizer?
I don’t think this is made for sustain. It’s got a lot of functionality, but not sustain. At least not that I’ve discovered.
HOLA- SE PUEDE TRADUCIR EL VIDEO EN ESPAÑOL. GRACIAS
I guess FV01 and FV04 are used for different purposes, does someone know if they can be used together?
Yes they can

What about all the switches on this pedal at the back,or are they just a gimmick, are you a Darlek?
Definitely a dalek.

None taken. Thats my issue with the pedal. The harmony isn’t accurate.
@@medinsmakemusic To my ears the harmony isn't inaccurate, it's _wrong_ plain and simple. It's singing accurately, but the wrong notes.
Maybe you just dialed in the wrong key.

good suggestion to test the vocal with the instrument to make the measurement more accurate

Yes, they can be used with keyboards
I don't know if it's the pedal or your settings but it definitely harmonizes out of tune...
Indeed. I’m wondering if the idea was that you would use it with and after the FV01.
c e qualcuno che riesce a darmi delle spiegazioni in italiano gliene sarei grato
Auto harmonist ?
Boss ps6 or flama??
For guitar? Boss.
I'am violinist, thanks 👍

Fire the backup singer 😊
😂
Woah, some pitch correction was badly needed here? The harmony sounded totally incorrect.
💯 agreed.
@@medinsmakemusic I doubt anyone would buy one of these based on your demo. Should take it down.
The main problem with this is that it's not an intelligent harmonizer. The chords of the guitar doesn't guide the harmony.
Now all we need is separation of church and solid state...
There’s always going to be some church on this channel. 😎
Terrible harmony
Agreed
Talk to much. But less tested the sound.
no talking just play
no playing just talk
noooo...awfull voice..even with the pedal!😢
