The most recent time I was in the CN Tower was back on April 29, 1997 after spending ten days in Florida...I missed 'Entertainment Tonight' during that time!
You can do some research on elevators, meet an elevator tech who are REAL experts, and also you can try to contact Andrew Reams the Legendary elevator enthusiast! :D
Hey jim! No wonder whether these elevators were Otis series 3/Elevonic 411M. No wonder you made friends with the elevator operator , who talks about the CN Tower. How strange!!
What they used to be (touche sensitive I believe) ? *you are saying in the description that it was modernized in 1900-2000's. wow ! 100 years of modernization ! LOL, they started to modernize the elevator before some think "oh ! I should build a tower right here" ! LOL*
This is very cool. That is neat how you can see the shaft below. I like the view over the city and the lake.
Love the exterior view...0:45 I haven't been to Canada yet...but CN Tower's definitely on my to-do list if I were to visit it one day.

I don't refer to this speed as 1800fpm. The speed is 1200fpm.

Anyone know why the higher observation level is nicknamed Buds Bubble.I know just wondering does anybody else know.
I just push the buttons in the elevator at Burj Khalifa Dubai
You know there IS such thing as a high-speed hydraulic elevator?
No there isn’t, all I know that there’s a HIGHdraulic meaning it’s a High-hydraulic elevator traveling at least 5 to 7 floors.
A high-speed hydraulic elevator travels at 200 FPM. Example: 6200 LBJ, which I filmed.
@JimLiElevators But yes, a HIGHDraulic elevator has more than 5 landings.
YOU CAN SEE THE AIRPORT FROM HERE
#canadain
It was 1776 feet tall
Been somewhere taller
Hahaha I guess you didn't know how to operate the elevator after all :)
