I've been on the fence about getting an e-bike, I really appreciate this dive into one of my options. Really reinvigorated my desire to just find one.

Epic. Would love to see more real-world reviews of bike & sports tech. Everyone who reviews this stuff (including us) is very "into it." Your review and vid skills are awesome. And it's nice to have a "non-super-enthusiast's" real take on things.

looks like it might be a good one?
    where can I see one?
1st time Ive seen one was today
    im 6'6" 217 lbs and
    im from North Idaho
around here there are miles of roads and trails [real trails]
there is a nice paved bike path a few miles away that goes along the river passed lakes up thru mountains to Montana or the other way to Washington. but its just a paved bike path that most bikes will do fine on.
a bike that can go on real trails and country roads will be more useful here. :)
    thanks for another option. :)

I hate how literally no one states the actual amp size and says the conversion....even the website doesnt state the size of battery.

Not worth getting such a big bike. I got rid of mine, and got a commuter version on the cheap sale /$400, that works GREAT so far, 5months. Not as nice as this setup with bell, lights, display screen and such, but does have a 36kw battery. It works good on flat for about 50 minutes on medium mode. So much weight, so much drag, so much wastred power! Its made for no real thoughtout purpose...Yes, just for fun...but how do you define fun...something that is ridiculous? Something designed for loose deep sand riding, yet too heavy for it? Biking alone is FUN, as you now realized after 9 years was it?
Congrats..this bike is a waste of the space it takes up in the garage.

The moment you said IP X4 rated I was off. This is bicycle and anything other than waterproof is just an excuse for being cheap. Furthermore this shit is not dust resistant at all!! You have to be kidding me! are you supposed to ride this bike in the garage away form all kinds of weather!
