7:16 - I'm 100% with you, Adam. When I lived a mile from the beach as a kid, I never cared for the beach. Even in college, I wasn't a huge beach fan, and thought I should have been born in the mountains. But over the last couple years, I'm starting to enjoy our beaches more and more. I don't think I ever realized just how beautiful it is. It's easy to take it for granted living in the South.
Love the beach there. I grew up off N 72nd street in Pensacola. Coming to visit from Missouri in June and staying at an Airbnb real close to where you filmed this (Arkansas Street)
Sure must be great to live there. Nothing like living in Connecticut. Another snow storm coming on Wed. About 8". On top of the 12" we got on Thursday. Im happy for you and Abby to be able to live in such a wonderful place. Best of luck to both of you.
We have reservations and will be in Navarre in June. We were originially planning on Destin but Navarre came highly recommended by some friends. Ive been looking at pics and videos and Im so excited about our trip! We are from Oklahoma and havent spent much time at a beach. Your video makes it look so appealing! Thank you for letting us hear the waves, its beautiful.
thank you for your insightful view of this lovely place. Just retired and hope to make Florida my home. I used to live on the Atlantic side as a kid...not for me. Researching the beaches on the gulf and panhandle. Videos like this certainly help! Thanks for the share!
I'm from Missouri too! KC to be exact. My husband and I stumbled on Navarre Beach when we took a drive out of Pensacola. Absolutely Beautiful! We would like to stay there next time instead of Pensacola Beach. It's beautiful too but more crowded. I love the National Seashore too. Gorgeous!
Nice places. When one cant take a full vacation somewhere the next best thing which I think is just as nice is being a tourist in your own town/city or region. Have a nice time out and sleep in your own bed too. That is a nice spot, open water and enclosed water.
With the Weather System just clearing out , The Rough Emerald Water , The White Sand , and semi sunny weather...…. All these factors made for a Great Video ! This video was beautiful to watch !
Another great travelogue and what timing. I just finished making reservations for mid-May at an RV resort in Navarre and get notified of this video. Now I really cannot wait to get down there. A big hi to Abbie from Independence Mo.
Beautiful beach Adam! Been there many times, but it's been a long time ago. Wish we had sand bottoms in the sound so we could get prettier and clearer water. It doesn't get clear until your past the barrier islands here. The sound is a ugly brown most of the time.
I remember those days like they were yesterday. I remember Aunt Helen would take us mainly to Pensacola beach. Also great fishing right there on both sides. Heather caught her person best pompano just east of the pier 6 months ago exactly.
It's nice to see warm beach scenes as the forecast calls for another foot of snow up here in New England. You should put your mag-base in a plastic bag before putting it in the sand so you don't bring sand back to your machinery.
I spent a couple days here last year and it is my new favorite. I also am from Missouri and have started looking for some property and checking out the job market just north of here. If you've got any tips for real estate purchasing, let me know.
Thinking of moving there but starting out in an apartment. Do you know if any apartment complexes? I only know of one by Walmart- the Sounds at Navarre.....close to the bridge on the mainland.
So is Navarre Beach where Gill is from? I was thinking it was Navarre, something. Beautiful area and view. I'm from the dry end of Kansas so the humidity down there would about kill me, but it sure is beautiful!
Adam, my brother-in-law live just a few miles north of there. How far is it to your house from there? I totally get what your were talking about and what it feels like to return to a place you enjoyed as a kid. I remember going back to my grandmother's house where I grew up, everything looked so small! Great camera work as always. Rich
Abom Adventures Thank you...for me, it was hard to hear her well. Keep her...great people are from Missouri. I would go back but, during MO winters, I hate the snow and ice -- too old to drive safely on it.
Beautiful area, and quite familiar since we were just there a couple of weeks ago. Check out our RUclips video. What camera are you using? Amazing clarity of video!
@@AbomAdventures I looked in to it and see that Destin hosts a kite festival... I will have to check in to that one day soon.! Thanks for all of your point of view videos..I really enjoy them..:)
JUST booked a vacation house for July. 2nd time going to Navarre beach. Loved it so much!
It’s a beautiful beach and area that’s not as crowded at Pensacola and Destin.
@@AbomAdventures it really is!! Our new favorite get away!

That was very nice. Thank you for not putting music over the sounds of the waves ...was relaxing. 🥰🌊
Thanks for sharing! That place is drop dead gorgeous. I miss it. Can't wait to go back.

Cool! It’s nice here. Nice beach and in the middle of all of the great surrounding areas.
Excellent video.
Another great video Adam think I told you I'm off yo Alabama soon and we will be passing through Pensacola and the surrounding beaches can't wait
Beautiful video

We’re lucky to have such beautiful beaches here. Hope you having a good weekend Russ. 👍🏻
this is great! like a hidden gem! is it always like this? the color is aqua blue!

Chris? Yep aunt Helen used to take Brandon and I to Pensacola Beach every summer.
thanks for sharing your adventures
Kudos to you both!!!!
Navarre, my absolute favorite!!!!!
Good stuff. I am retiring to either Navarre or Pace this year. For the Beaches and awesome Public schools.
I'm coming here in 5 days

Hi Adam and Abbey,
Beautiful scenery. The audio from Abbey's camera sounded fuller.
Enjoyed Adam!
ATB, Robin
Real pretty scenery. A friendly word of advice though; keep the horizon level as a primary rule of thumb.
Beautiful place
That’s no video brother, that’s a god damn wallpaper. Beautiful place
You live in Pensacola? Lucky!!!!
Very nice.
LOVE!!🌊❣️
If I could hit a thousand likes I would! Peace to the troubled soul.

Same here. Love in Ozark. Looking to move back with the family soon.
I have to thank ya for not eating that great seafood ya have there and making my mouth water again!
It's tough. I had to endure shrimp and grits for breakfast this weekend.
Thinking of moving there but starting out in an apartment. Do you know if any apartment complexes? I only know of one by Walmart- the Sounds at Navarre.....close to the bridge on the mainland.
Thats the exact spot i sat at
Hope ya'll enjoyed your vacation!
Adam you need to start bringing your mom and aunts with you so they can reminisce about this
They all go do their own adventuring quite often. They have all been in Plant City the past 10 days enjoying the annual strawberry festival there. 👍🏻
well, I remember when "no condos" on beach, and 1 little bar at end of bridge on gulf side
So is Navarre Beach where Gill is from? I was thinking it was Navarre, something. Beautiful area and view. I'm from the dry end of Kansas so the humidity down there would about kill me, but it sure is beautiful!
Yea that’s where Gill lives. There is Navarre, and also Navarre Beach.
American Machine I’m also in the dry end of ks, what part of the dry end do you call home, I’m northwesy
*northwest
Hey James, I'm from the northwest corner as well. West of Hays, along I-70. You?
American Machine north of colby

Navarre is about a 45 minute drive from Pensacola.
If I heard correctly, Abby is from Missouri? Missouri was my home state. We moved to Central Florida in the early '70s.
Yes her hometown Is Independence.
Abom Adventures Thank you...for me, it was hard to hear her well. Keep her...great people are from Missouri. I would go back but, during MO winters, I hate the snow and ice -- too old to drive safely on it.
Abby giving some hints to you Adam! Either that or you've already been talking!
She’d love to have a beach condo, or one overlooking the water.
Why have a beach condo when you could have a beach shop? 😊
That would be sweet, but hurricanes would destroy it.
Is it some hotel near here? Walking distance?
Florida's best kept secret....
Of wait they changed the sign.
For Now! Keep videos like this on RUclips.. You will have NOTHING But another South Florida!

Since this video posted it's become a hub for gang violence, armed robberies, drive by shootings, abandoned houses, etc.
SHOOT BACK! I Will !!
Beautiful area, and quite familiar since we were just there a couple of weeks ago. Check out our RUclips video.
What camera are you using? Amazing clarity of video!
Thanks Freddy! I use a GoPro Hero 4 on an Evo gimbal.
Question....I know the beaches are protected and such...but do you know if they prohibit kite flying?
You can fly kites, I see them out there.
@@AbomAdventures Awesome...Ive got some doosies!
@@AbomAdventures I looked in to it and see that Destin hosts a kite festival... I will have to check in to that one day soon.! Thanks for all of your point of view videos..I really enjoy them..:)
Get two condos. Ill take one and manage yours while you are away. 😂
👍👍
Why has that foot print got six toes ???(at 5:56)
I lived here for a year...I loved it til we got 2 direct hits by hurricanes in 1995,,,,
