Today we have checked something off our bucket list! Something we have always wanted to try! And that’s the LARGEST BUFFET in the Philippines! Vikings buffet has been around for ages, it’s so popular and now we can finally understand why! Filipinos love to eat! And luckily so do we! An ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet is exactly what we came for! I think we got way too excited and ate way less than anticipated 😂 with a wide variety of dishes from the likes of Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Filipino and Japanese we were spoilt for choice! All of these at lunch time cost us under $14! And that’s absolutely unbelievable for unlimited food, drinks and even beer! You also get birthday cake if it’s your birthday, well actually it’s unlimited cake too! 😍 We really enjoyed this experience and ate our tiny hearts out! Have you tried this buffet before? If not, definitely check out the 13th largest mall in Asia! That’s about 950 basketball courts… yeah it’s pretty big! 😍 like, SUBSCRIBE and share for more foodie adventures!

the largest buffet in the phil is the Spiral in Sofitel Hotel. It is also the biggest in the world. Don't skip the cheese room. The first and the oldest buffet is the Kamayan in Quezon City.

If you guys are a fan of buffets, then you definitely have to go and check out the Spiral Buffet at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel. Both Mark Wiens and Mike Chen have done reviews on it. The place is truly spectacular. It's like the BGC of buffets. May I suggest booking a hotel right there too, as you probably won't be able to walk much after eating there lul.
Spiral buffet isn't as good as it was before, we went there last December for my birthday. I think it's because they lost a lot of their original chefs due to the pandemic

Buffet for under $13? Damn! You can't even get a proper meal for $15 here in the States with inflation and gas prices that keeps going up!
The buffet spread there at that place is freakin nice. Lots to choose from! I'll have to go there when I visit the Philippines!

It seems quite cheap when you convert the peso cost to dollars, but it's still quite pricey by Philippine standards because an average decent Filipino meal would be around $2.
I agree to you! We were feeling starving watching these couple while eating on that buffet, $13 buffet here is not even tasty!
@@MisterAPH Wel...a $13 buffet is cheap because I'm comparing that to similar buffets in the US that's $80 to $!00. The average decent meal at a sit down restaurant here is around $30. For the average American $30 is a good amount of money.

The best buffets I've been to are the ones on the Las Vegas Strip. The one inside the Wynn Hotel is pretty good for $70 and the best one I've been to is Bacchanal Buffet for $90 inside Caesar's Palace Hotel. You have to go these two if you ever visit Las Vegas.

The spiral buffet in the sofitel hotel. It is one of the best in asia. You can also walk around the grounds while there as well. It has a beautiful sunset overlooking manila bay.
Why do you have to limit it in Asia? It can compete with any buffet restaurants in the world. As far as I know, it is the biggest buffet restaurant in the world.

thanks I suggest to them to try the buffet.i been there 4 years ago during my vacation.i was surprised by the bounty of good food and it's very cheap by the way.specially during lunch time.you can eat till you drop for cheap price.and guess what you can stay for 2 3 or 4 hrs as much as you can.

Spiral Buffet is definitely more upscale, if you can believe it, than Vikings. Try of you guys can the dim sum buffet at Solaire. Mike Chen from Strictly Dumplings visited both these places too and he was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Damn! I miss Philippines
Spiral lost many of their chefs due to the pandemic, and is now subpar:(. We were so disappointed when we were there a few months ago. I wouldn’t recommend it anymore.

After reading the comments section, I saw a lot of people suggesting the Spiral buffet and it is to be expected. However, there are also other notable buffet restaurants like the one in Okada Manila and in Solaire. Their buffets can match the variety of food in Vikings restaurant. Their buildings are content-worthy as well. So you guys can make videos about the building itself and about their buffet.

Uts being called Asia’s Grandest Buffet and Vikings is nothing compared to what the Spiral Buffet can offer with the selection of Cheese getting their own separate room! If i could eat like normal i would but ever since i had the Lap Band surgery, I wouldn’t be able to eat my money’s worth hehehe.. i was thinking that this travel Vloggers want to experience the best that the Philippines can offer then the best is Spiral Buffet. Coz a lot of foreigners still think that Philippines is like a very poor country n we dont have modern conveniences like in the western countries of which they are wrong to their shock!
4k pesos for a buffet is not worth it even tho they have so much food choices you cannot eat all tho. Compare to viking pretty decent price and you can have a chance to do window shopping in sm megamall

Comparing to these Philippine Buffet with Vegas or any in the US is quite disconcerting since I'm only commenting on some advice regarding Spiral Buffet. Foreigners are expected to go to some costlier Buffet in the Philippines because it would be cheaper compared to western Countries and they can afford it, notwithstanding the Exchange Rate of USD.

I no longer recommend it. We went there a few months ago and we were so disappointed, we talked with the manager to complain. He said that they lost many chefs during the pandemic. We had gone there 4 times before so we know how it was compared to how it is. Vikings is honestly better now, which is ridiculous considering the price point

nope i believe thats not the largest and not luxury one. Their luxury store is niu. In mandaluyong located in the podium mall. the vast selections are in spiral buffet of Sofitel hotel. They even have their cheese room.
