We've visited these places in 1991 and so far we were the only tourist on the small and big lagoon, most of other places were empty those days.When we got back in 2014 and 2018 I couldn't believe the changes.

You can still do it, Martina. One of my professors once told me that when he quit his profession as a lawyer to pursue teaching at age 52, it was the scariest thing he'd ever experienced in his life. Law was all he knew most of his life. He thought that was his destiny. So he felt so lost. But he also said that it was the most rewarding decision he has ever made. He has never been happier and feeling more fulfilled. And it saved his marriage :-)......so I'm just saying....I believe you can still do it, Martina :-)

Looks absolutely amazing. Thanks for putting this together. Be careful getting all that sun exposure and red skin in tropical places. I used to do it in my 20s and now I am covered in moles and sunspots that exploded all over my body in my 30s (I’m 40 now). It’s good to get sun exposure when the sun is low in the sky, but I think it’s smarter to cover up when it’s scorching. Very envious of the travels!

I lived near the reef in north qld Australia where UV levels are super high. uv50+ clothing is really alot more effective. Anyway, Id love to visit palawan one day, along with Malaysian Borneo (sabah) and of course Bali.
Your skin problem its not about the sun heat, but your skin have its complicated vitamin problem which is not found in your body that your skin needed, pls consult your derma.

If you'll be staying for longer time in the Philippines, you may want to visit the northern islands especially Batanes, it's the only place in the Philippines listed in the UNESCO world heritage site as protected landscapes and seascapes in its entirety. The breathtaking views, house structure (stones houses) and the culture there are different from the rest of the country.

Its Wonderful. That's why I recommended to you EL NIDO and CORON PALAWAN because these place is the most Beautiful place in the Philippines and voted the BEST ISLAND in the World for three times. Red Bull Cliff Diving Competition Series was held here in EL NIDO I think that was 2017 or 2018.

Good for you guys, you had your kayaking in and out of the lagoon. In our case, me and my friends had to swim our way, it was both exhausting and fun. One of the best memories I had in my life.
