***** I think it was so they could just put their gun over a ledge and blast away. I'm no expert but maybe if it was side mounted the gun wouldn't be well balanced- or it might get caught on something when you put it over your head. Maybe the openings were like vertical slits.
I don't mind sub machine guns and automatic weapons being prevalent in this game so much as I mind them being way too accurate and doing way too much damage. Pretty much renders every other gun obsolete
The Germans were very fond of using captured enemy equipment. But then again, you have to remember some liberties need to be made for the sake of game balance and enjoyment
+Just Focus and Observe You're angry because they arn't focusing on whites? You're either b8ing or are very stupid. They chose diversity BECAUSE it wasn't common. Dice wanted to be different from the other ww1 games.
lol I thought I was the only one to notice these tiny details, but yeah the attention to the tiniest of details are impressive to say the least. I giggled like a little girl during the live stream when I saw the soldiers reloading individual bullets into their guns instead of clips when still having bullets left in the gun.
after the honeymoon period of all this news and gameplay footage im left thinking man im kinda dissapointed this really just looks a WW2 shooter with a bunch of prototype guns and tanks that never actually saw use in world war 1. they really had a chance to just force people to use semi auto rifles or bolt action rifles without scopes. slow down the movement speed just a touch. extend the period it takes to respawn and generally give the game a WW1 grind feel where u really had to be smart and savour ur life to gain an inch of territory. but it just looks like a fast paced WW2 shooter with guns thats in alot of cases never saw the war. gameplay wise its still obviously a winner. But its just not what i expected and thats a little dissapointing. They really shouldve just said well we might aswell just make it a WW2 game, since its featuring alot of automatic weapons but still a classic war look about it.
+Char Aznable Yeah, they love ignoring that you can eject from a jet, RPG an enemy jet and then get back in to the jet you just ejected from in BF4. Totally acceptable to them.
i like that the gameplay perfectly demonstrates what youre saying, for example, there was bit very early on where, several times, you had your sight right on an enemy but only hit once or twice
Guys, are you ready? Let's watch the history teachers come in and tell DICE how to make a game! Because we all know that: Realism>fun gameplay, balanced gameplay and classic battlefield gameplay :D

+LevelCapGaming a big reason a lot of magazines were inverted on early automatic weapons was the notion that gravity would help feed the rounds more quickly and reliably.
2:14 I thought to correct you there +LevelCapGaming - the guns weren't certainly prototypes! The reason why WWI-early WWII guns were designed to have top mounted magazines is so it would be more ergonomic to fire those guns while from inside the trench so the user doesn't have to stick out too much of his head. Look at the successful British Bren LMG, that is also top mounted. It would also allow for shorter bipods which helps you shoot at the enemy while exposing less of yourself. Additionally, the top mounted design reduced the occasional failure to feed due to the relative poor quality magazine springs or in some cases, the guns magazine relied solely on gravity to chamber a round.
would be nice to give any class the ability to eqip a bold-action rifle in addition to their normal weapons (i guess there were enough variants to give every class at least 4) - this would lead to a more realistic ww1-feeling while still keeping the balance like it is. the bold-action rifles should be less powerful than the sniperrifles but maybe also have that sweetspot (i like that feature). also there will be the problem that you mentioned in your bf4-videos like... 100 times? the enineer had AT weapons for big, open maps but the smgs are not meant for long-range combat, so it didnt work out very well. now, the carbines are also gone for this class only leaving cqb weapons. where my idea would at least help a bit
I loved seeing the other RUclipsrs scrolling through the kill feed. I also can't get over the fact that Level was in a squad with Snoop Dogg, at least for a time.
Hey LevelCap, about your mentioning of Submachineguns not being used practically, in WWI, you're right about that. In fact, the MP-18 was the only Submachinegun to actually see combat during the war, it was used by stormtroopers during the Spring Offensive in 1918 to devastating effect, but arrived too late to stop the German surrender. All other submachineguns that'll likely appear in BF1 will either have arrived too late to take part in the war, or never made it past the prototype stage. :3
Why is only 1 out of the 4 British classes European? This is really annoying history revisionism considering that this was a European war. I'm not sure about the Germans, but I know atleast one of their classes is black. What the hell?
Maybe because the British Empire is absolutely fucking huge? And there's two English people isn't there? One Indian guy, one black guy, and two white guys yeah? And yes, there is a black German soldier, and if you 1) don't know about any history of Prussia and Germany, and/or 2) are a fucking racist, I can see why this may rustle your jimmies a little.
Toby Wood "raaayyycesss!!!" no, it's called historical accuracy. The english assault and scout class are black with an indian engineer class. The support class is the only white one. Yes, the english empire was huge- but the tasks they assigned the melanin enriched folk was jobs like digging trenches and shoveling horse manure. They weren't fighting on the front lines. I doubt incredibly racist soldiers back then would have tolerated Africans and Sikhs being responsible for their life and safety in the Early 1900's. 25% white is not an accurate representation of the English military in the 1910's. I know the history quite well. Swedish Dice and EA are just trying to blackwash history with their politically correct historical revisionism. It's an affront to the soldiers that fought and died. It's saying that some bulk majority of soldiers that fought died in ww1 weren't European. If there was a BF korean war and the korean side was only 25% korean and 75% white- people would be scratching their heads.
While it's no big deal it is a game, I agree they haven't been historically accurate. DICE pride themselves on being slightly realistic and this isn't really
If there are going to be automatics weapons at least restrict them somehow so that only 1 player in each squad can use them. Its ww1 it should be slow. There are too many submachine guns for a ww2 game let alone ww1. 99% of infantry had bolt action rifles. Everyone will be running around building with these and it wont feel like ww1 at all. I haven't even seen any trenches yet but no doubt submachine guns in small trenches will spoil that gameplay too.
I was always on the side who would love if we could restrict snipers to 1 per class, but even in this ww1 setting I don't mind the amount of autos being used. However, I wish they would implement a gun jam system or something along those lines to counter and balance between the bolt actions.
bf4 people had a huge variety of weapons also. unrealistic too cause in real life u wnt see soldiers running around with random ass weapons. its s fuckin video game. stop bitchin
Top mounted magazines were actually quite common due to the fact that bullets could be ejected from the gun using only the gravitational pull. Adding the fact that you would use two eyes when firing, they wouldn't obstruct as much as you think.
God i am so damn hyped for this game..... Currently i'm playing BF3 lowest settings 800x600 ( no graphics card :( ), but i do get 50-60 fps tho... I wish i could play the newer battlefield games but that is just too much for my graphics chip. Gonna save money, buy a GTX 1080, and then enjoy Battlefield 1 4K 60FPS in oct.
Articounias 60Hz is enough. And V-Sync is supposed to grab the closest frames to your refresh rate but this only creates false images making accuracy a lot worse in my opinion. It just always feels like there is some kind of weird stutter delay with my input. And since i am a very competitive gamer this is not what i want.
at 3:10, I thought they made it where people can't just jump out when the vehicle is about to blow up to escape the death. like when with a action animation.
Yes, they have a dlc dedicated to them. Whether it's free or not is something we don't know yet, but a lot of people are pretty pissed about this for obvious reasons.
+BrawlerAce well... If the French were in the game, people wouldn't think about who they played as, just like any other faction. When it's DLC, people are actually playing on French maps and thinking more about who they're playing. Basically giving the French more attention.
maybe yes, because dice said it'll be a 'more focused for french army' kind of DLC. but it would be suck if they just add some french armored vehicles, french weaponary, and some maps take places where french soldiers fights. it would be like they just adding faction. might as well they add it in the first place if that's the case
I hate how there are no weapons for all kits anymore. You don't get that restriction in real life so why put it in the game? Kits should be equipment specific only, that way you can play in the style you prefer and the role you prefer. And FYI you can shoot a pump action shotgun like that at any point during reloading so I don't know why they nerfed that. It would be slower to pump it afterwards but you can still fire a shot off. Hell you can even do that with any gun with a round in the chamber.
People complain about this, but when it does happen they continue to complain about it and how it shouldn't be a thing. The reason it's like that is because they want the classes used as they were intended and not have people running around with the equipment of a recon with the weapon of an assault.
Henbot ACTUALLY thee was no rocket gun in ww1, if there was it was prolly in blueprints or failed spectacularly. better off using them grenades that are tied up together, as shown by levelcap
***** pretty good chance Verdun is a fuckton better than Battlefield 1, since this is EA. then again Verdun is indeed pretty good despite not having tanks and whatnot
Deroni76 what? there was the BAR that thing was mobile and was fully automatic, mp18 and more prototype weapons, not all of them were used, but small and mobile automatic weapons did exist back then
Even though it's harder to kill infantry with the anti-tank grenade do you think CQB game modes like tdm and domination will turn into a grenade spam fest? This is my main concern with the assault class since a lot of people will be using smg's and shotgun for these games modes.
A guide for a game we can't play, and since it's in pre-alpha by the time we can play it this guide will be irrelevant. Or is this just a way to milk more money out the same footage?
Magazines were mounted on the tops and sides of guns to help prevent them getting clogged up from mud and stuff in the trenches, not due to weapon designers not knowing where to put them.
I think it's hilarious people are complaining that SMGs are going to play a big role in BF1, saying it's unrealistic and stuff. Meanwhile in BF4, you have US Marines runing with the Mateba 6 Unica, a Brazilian-made civilian revolver, and Russians/Chinese with Israeli Galil ACEs and Railguns. You know this game is gonna be fun when the only thing people complain about are the "historical inaccuracies", which BF 1942/3 had a lot of, but back then people didn't give a shit because they knew they were playing a GAME, not a bloody simulation. And I don't know where people get the impression that DICE make their games as realistic as possible, and there are a few special butterflies in this comment section that think so. DICE never made a game where realism was their top priority, and probably never will. Trained soldiers using ATVs strapped full of exploves to destroy tanks; when did the US Marines ever do that? Got shot in the face? oh let me just defibrilate your nipples and you'll be good to go. Aircraft cannons take 12 hits to kill people? Just shoot them 4 times with a pistol, they'll die quicker. So you see, DICE's main focus is the player's enjoyment in the game: Fun gameplay > everything else, and if realism must be sacrificed in order to keep things fun, so be it. If your main concern about this game is the overabundance of SMGs in the field, and their historical relevance in a video game, there's something seriously wrong with you. -sincerly, a person who plays games for fun.
+Zeredek Point still stands that DICE do not accurately represent battles nor should they, doesn't matter if it's WW1/2 or some fictional one. They focus solely on gameplay, which is good, because having a fully authentic WW1 game would mean watering down several gameplay aspects. Tanks, for example would take hours to drive into objectives. Machine guns would shred everyone so everyone would use them instead of Bolt Actions. The gas would kill you regardless if you had a mask because they were really crappy back then etc. No one will play this game for authenticity, they'll play it because it's Battlefield.
I'm starting to agree. Don't forget how crappy bf4 launched and how long it took to fix. Dice has so many games going on that I think the people who made bf3 and before good have moved on.
Im sure they mounted the magazine on the top of some of the ww1 guns as it was predominantly trench warfare and being on your stomach dont make for a good time reloading with the traditional under clip that we know, not necessarily cuz they didnt know what they were doing.
For the people who want that ultra realistic bolts and trench warfare only, there will be custom servers hosted by the community for that just like in BF4 there are pistol only servers now in BF1 we are going to have bolt actions with iron sights only servers and on the maps that are more trench based.
I hope that in bf1 you can click on a button in the menu screen that actually shows the symthic stats but ingame so maybe if you are more experienced you can switch to this stats screen
Love how LVL says its a fun class, specially in close quaters and killing infantry with the Rocket gun is fun too, but as soon as BF1 comes out he will make a video how it is OP and he gets killed all the time
I wonder if we will see the sniper rifle that was meant to take out armored vehicles. We have seen it in the trailer so it should be in the game. But I wonder if it will be in MP, only in SP or if it a weapon you pick off the ground. Like the grenade launcher in BF4.
+LevelCapGaming ..... Do you know if there will be any sort of theater mode in bf1 because I have always wanted to capture the awesome moments of battle to watch later and I am hoping they will incorporate some sort of capture system into this game. If you know anything about it, could you please maybe dedicate part of a video to talking about it or just respond to my comment? Thanks
whats up with all of the weapons having very visible tracer rounds? I hate how whenever I choose to fire long distance everyone on the map can see exactly where im firing from.
The ninja loadout: kit: Engineer Primary: m9 suppressor, laser sight. secondary: phantom bow, gas arrow gadget 1: Eod bot gadget 2: Ds-3 decoy grenade: smoke knife: carbon fiber, neck or bj-2 primary gamemode: rush Sneak up behind your enemies by using the smoke, gas arrow and decoy. From there use your m9 and knife to kill as many as you can. If you are in the troll mode: just get behind enemy lines and find a comfortable spot (maybe bring a chair) and use your eod bot to kill the enemy. I hope you choose my loadout level. Have a nice day. The Poroswaggers.
I'm just saying, the CTE should still be a thing to test new maps before release so we can find any flaws or broken spots on the map to have a much smoother launch.
so how many guns and how many maps at launch? will we see horses and artillery before then? i bet eventually a later dlc will have a game mode bayonet charge. everybody at same time.
Actually the developers of these weapons would put the magazine on the top instead of the bottom or side to prevent issues in the trench where the magazine could obstruct your aim
So assault has the best up close guns in the game, and the best at fighting all the many land vehicles? So about 90%+ of the server will be assaults...?
I think the should reduce the ammo pool you spawn with on full auto weapons. It would cause people to gravitate over to semi autos hand bolt actions, thus making the game a tad bit more authentic.
Well in battles in WW1 like in the video, you would have German storm troops fighting. The Storm troops main weapon was that SMG with the side drum mag. So you would see that SMG alot in battle like this. I think 5,000 of them were made in total.
My God... I remember playing against a player on another team named prophet on fire. He killed that same guy in this video around 5:30. Wow it's such a small world.
Technically, you can get a variation with a reflector sight on your gun (like a holographic sight used on planes, so weird that it's used as a reflex sight in BF1) and some other things, like a British scope on your gun
The variations are not totally replacing attachments, there will still be more attachments but not as much as bf4, variations change the statistics of the weapons, while attachments offer sights, bayonets, different ammo types, etc
The gun variations are the solutions to the many complaints that dice received due to so there being many weapons and so many attachment variations in Battlefield four. They decided to go with fewer guns and fewer attachments on the whole and just create more standard variation types for each weapon.
I loved running around in the previous BF with iron-sighted snipers, but the lack of one shot kills and that bolt-action isn't good versus all those semi-autos made it impossible to get many kills. That is why I hoped for more bolt-action in this game, so that they wouldn't be under-powered. Too bad it isn't that way
funny how the anti-tank grenade has a smaller blast radius then a normal grenade while it is actually a stick with a number of grenade heads mounted on top. The damage and blast radius should have been six times as strong.
Dude, I can't get over how good the maps look. Serviceable as an arena, but unique and rugged, not theme-parky.
Can't wait to play with the AEK, oops, I mean the Automatico
lol
I'm calling it, scout class will be the most popular due to a specific and known reason..
What reason?
+Michi Plays I'm guessing for the super strong bolt action sniper rifles?
***** Bolt actions in general, Scout is the only class who can use them
+Articounias Yeah I had a feeling and on top of that it's the only fun looking class so far
+Michi Plays you get free CANDY!
Magazine were TOP MOUNTED so the soldier did not have to expose himself as much when shooting from a trench.
I did not know that. makes sense.
Another reason was gravity assisted feeding to reduce the likelihood of a stoppage.
***** I think it was so they could just put their gun over a ledge and blast away. I'm no expert but maybe if it was side mounted the gun wouldn't be well balanced- or it might get caught on something when you put it over your head. Maybe the openings were like vertical slits.
thats the beauty of ww1 people were trying all sorts of ideas out for war
***** truly a time of innovation
I don't mind sub machine guns and automatic weapons being prevalent in this game so much as I mind them being way too accurate and doing way too much damage. Pretty much renders every other gun obsolete
But as soon as you get some distance they become obsolete to everything else
I don't know man, they look like they have pretty much pin-point accuracy when ADS.
no the bolt actions are one shot kills
+ZORAZ Haseeb only at a specific range tho
this guy is very experienced and know how to shoot at long range, and also if the gun were weaker people would be complaining about that
I hate that the French tank is for every country as well as the German box tank and the British land ship
cry me a river
The Germans were very fond of using captured enemy equipment. But then again, you have to remember some liberties need to be made for the sake of game balance and enjoyment

+Just Focus and Observe Who cares
+Ben Brooks What other WW1 games? This is the first big budget WW1 game and one of the very few WW1 games in general.
i didn't notice before that the smg's mags will move when firing, at least the top mounted does.
I noticed this too. Great attention to detail.
lol I thought I was the only one to notice these tiny details, but yeah the attention to the tiniest of details are impressive to say the least. I giggled like a little girl during the live stream when I saw the soldiers reloading individual bullets into their guns instead of clips when still having bullets left in the gun.
what?
put a reply for the time that you saw it
TheDakrax It's the Italian top loaded SMG. Just watch the magazine when he shoots. It jiggles a little back and forth with the weapon.

can u come up with a new thing man ?? .. the same stupid comments over and over

+What im doing With my life how's that possible ?
It's a game guys, not a military simulator.
exactly
+Char Aznable Yeah, they love ignoring that you can eject from a jet, RPG an enemy jet and then get back in to the jet you just ejected from in BF4. Totally acceptable to them.
+Char Aznable COD has also ways been face paced, and stop comparing them, they are two different games which attract different players.
Nobody said it should be a simulator ..

I like the detail of the magazine rattling around in it's mag well when it's fired.
this guy played battlefield 1 once and he already has a guide out? milking the hell out of this game.
He's played it a lot more than once...
He's in a closed alpha right now.
If you dont like the milk, then dont drink it.

Everything that ive seen of this game is amazing and I cant wait to play the beta

at 3:10, I thought they made it where people can't just jump out when the vehicle is about to blow up to escape the death. like when with a action animation.
Is it true that the French and their army are dlc for this game?
+asher1735 oh yes i forgot to mention that
+asher1735 Is everyone here not reading my comment :(
Yes finally, I've been waiting for this battle ever since you mentioned it!!!
the left arm when reloading the mp-18 looks soooo wrong, it bends the wrong way!
copy & paste timecode please
+thedoctor382 7:05 for example
Patrick Thomas
thanks
I think that is just the sleeve of the soldier bending, not his actual arm/wrist. Idk, to me it just looks like his uniform is shifting.
ouuch
the SMG seems to do good for longer distances as well although you said that this is not the case?
I hate how there are no weapons for all kits anymore. You don't get that restriction in real life so why put it in the game? Kits should be equipment specific only, that way you can play in the style you prefer and the role you prefer. And FYI you can shoot a pump action shotgun like that at any point during reloading so I don't know why they nerfed that. It would be slower to pump it afterwards but you can still fire a shot off. Hell you can even do that with any gun with a round in the chamber.
This isn't real life, it's a game that has balancing.
If you give every class every weapon there's no depth to any of the classes, each class has its role and its weapons meet that role.
I hated any class being able to use shotguns, carbines, and DMRs
People complain about this, but when it does happen they continue to complain about it and how it shouldn't be a thing. The reason it's like that is because they want the classes used as they were intended and not have people running around with the equipment of a recon with the weapon of an assault.
Well I find that 'balancing' to be retarded.
I like how Neebs Gaming just did a scout and support video both under 3 mins and they covered pretty much everthing
the amount of inaccuracies is just too much gg EA or DICE or whatever
its a fucking game have you not been listening to what anyone has said???
Actually both of the smgs were used in WW1, the mp-18 was issued to 5000 German Stormtroopers
+Papa Pepe or red orchestra 2 aufmarsch
Henbot ACTUALLY thee was no rocket gun in ww1, if there was it was prolly in blueprints or failed spectacularly. better off using them grenades that are tied up together, as shown by levelcap
***** pretty good chance Verdun is a fuckton better than Battlefield 1, since this is EA. then again Verdun is indeed pretty good despite not having tanks and whatnot
I'm watching some BF-RUclipsrs and I know mashed8 aswell (German is my main language) and all of you are like a team, you complement each other
What the hell are fully automatic weapons doing in a World War 1 setting...?
they existed back then
in extremely small quantities compared to single fire weapons
griggs227 i never said there were alot of them, youre right about them being in small quantities.
DanielLubimov They existed under the form of mounted heavy machine guns which required two people to operate and were extremely immobile.
Deroni76 what? there was the BAR that thing was mobile and was fully automatic, mp18 and more prototype weapons, not all of them were used, but small and mobile automatic weapons did exist back then
Hey Level, what happened to the BF4 updated gun reviews?
5:43 that guy has crutches on his back
That's the medic identification thingy, seeing crutches on the enemies backs let's you know they're medic
+Articounias also they may have a broken foot... don't forget that
i mean they wouldnt be running around if they had a broken foot lol
+Zorroaster i can't wait to play BF1 and equip the tactical crutches with iron sites and extended handles
Cameron Prior pls nerf
Even though it's harder to kill infantry with the anti-tank grenade do you think CQB game modes like tdm and domination will turn into a grenade spam fest? This is my main concern with the assault class since a lot of people will be using smg's and shotgun for these games modes.
A guide for a game we can't play, and since it's in pre-alpha by the time we can play it this guide will be irrelevant.
Or is this just a way to milk more money out the same footage?

Same reason he only plays battleshit still.
Jup
THANK YOU! Finally, someone with common sense.
Hate to pull the rug out from under you m8 but the Unica 6 is Italian, otherwise, I completely agree
Yeah, I got it confused with the Taurus Raging Bull, which is a Brazilian revolver.
Meanwhile, BF4 is not based on a historical event which makes it a really dumb comparison
I loved BF3 and played it a lot, but after that I've played competive cod. Can't wait to play this game
i kinda think this game will be another hardline.
u can thank hardline and Dice LA for the fix of the Netcode in BF4
Visceral isnt shit in my opinion. Its just bad at making Battlefields
I agree m8
How?
I'm starting to agree. Don't forget how crappy bf4 launched and how long it took to fix.
Dice has so many games going on that I think the people who made bf3 and before good have moved on.
5:15 Where was the shotgun bayonett charge in the open beta?
That's stupid all the classes should get bolt actions
Then the game would be slow AF.
That's the point. WWI was slow AF.
That's not how the war was though. You try the make it realistic, but actually putting all bolts would make it less realistic,
Cos player spotted
They had SMGs, Machine Guns, and tanks towards the end of the war.
Im sure they mounted the magazine on the top of some of the ww1 guns as it was predominantly trench warfare and being on your stomach dont make for a good time reloading with the traditional under clip that we know, not necessarily cuz they didnt know what they were doing.
guides for a game that isn't finished? hungry for views? unsubscribed
I checked your subscription list and LevelCapGaming is still there.
calm down sir....unsubscribing is unnecessary for what your complaining about...
You are actually bitching for a guy that is trying to put out content for you? Really?
+Deus Ex Machina exactly
will battlefield 1 premium edition be made available once it is launched?
Almost certainly.
Why do people like this guy? he goes on like no one plays battlefield. think you need a proper day job.
Why are you here then? Go get a day job.
nobody has played this battlefield game so he is telling us about it
And here you are on RUclips complaining about someone making 10 times as much money as you are and calling them bad at their job 😂
+JerTheBear a job? he's playing games and making 10 mins vids. at least my job makes a difference
+JerTheBear a job? he's playing games and making 10 mins vids. at least my job makes a difference
I loved that you teabagged one of the battlefield friends guys.
I'm probably alone in this, but the Medic interests me most because i LOVE semi-auto rifles, and i love the clip/single round reloading mechanic
For the people who want that ultra realistic bolts and trench warfare only, there will be custom servers hosted by the community for that just like in BF4 there are pistol only servers now in BF1 we are going to have bolt actions with iron sights only servers and on the maps that are more trench based.
1:30 talks about having to assault as he hides in a tower xD but it was a cool guide thanks for the tips man
From the gameplay so far of BF1 it really reminds me of BF2 in so many wyas and I'm pumped
I love that wet, muddy section of map, between A & B flags.
Are we gonna be able to customize the available weapons with, different sights remove scopes from Bolt-Rifles?
+LevelCapGaming ..... Do you know if there will be any sort of theater mode in bf1 because I have always wanted to capture the awesome moments of battle to watch later and I am hoping they will incorporate some sort of capture system into this game. If you know anything about it, could you please maybe dedicate part of a video to talking about it or just respond to my comment? Thanks
whats up with all of the weapons having very visible tracer rounds? I hate how whenever I choose to fire long distance everyone on the map can see exactly where im firing from.
7:12
Spawns... Spawns never changes
What about climbing over the walls? Did they take that out or is it still in game?
Anyone see the helmet fly off at 2:26? Looks amazing!
The ninja loadout:
kit: Engineer
Primary: m9 suppressor, laser sight.
secondary: phantom bow, gas arrow
gadget 1: Eod bot
gadget 2: Ds-3 decoy
grenade: smoke
knife: carbon fiber, neck or bj-2
primary gamemode: rush
Sneak up behind your enemies by using the smoke, gas arrow and decoy.
What would be your ideal AUG A3 load out for stability/laser beam quality??
I'm just saying, the CTE should still be a thing to test new maps before release so we can find any flaws or broken spots on the map to have a much smoother launch.
Level, do you think that servers can disable certain weapons or classes for a more authentic expirience? If so, that would make alot of players happy.
so how many guns and how many maps at launch? will we see horses and artillery before then? i bet eventually a later dlc will have a game mode bayonet charge. everybody at same time.
What about the spawn system? Does it work well? There's a spawn in this video where you seem to appear in front of the enemy soldier..
Just curious, did they have a lot of UI settings in the options like BF4? (Enlarge minimap etc)
3:10 throws a anti-tank grenade at a tank then jumps towards it and survives both explosions all with 11 hp.
The MP18 was mass produced during WW1, the germans had over 10 000, it was loved by they're stormtroopers.
This is and will be one of the most unique first person shooter games that i have ever experienced
So The Scouts The Only Class With Bolt Action Rifles?..Or Will There Be Something Similar To That But For All Classes Like The DMR's In Bf4
I think the should reduce the ammo pool you spawn with on full auto weapons. It would cause people to gravitate over to semi autos hand bolt actions, thus making the game a tad bit more authentic.
Dice please add a sawed off bolt action rifle like the Obrez Mosin just as example. It'd make for a great secondary or crew gun.
Question: what weapon types (besides side arms, assuming they are) are multi-class, if any?
I love the weather effects! It's going to feel like their are even more maps! Really cool idea. Night and day as well, am I right?
Well in battles in WW1 like in the video, you would have German storm troops fighting. The Storm troops main weapon was that SMG with the side drum mag. So you would see that SMG alot in battle like this. I think 5,000 of them were made in total.
Another reason the mag's were mounted in weird places on some of these WW1 guns is to help keep them out of the mud and muck of the trenches.
How did the amount of explosives feel? Fewer than in BF4?
This game is gonna freshen the FPS games of the latest years!
My God... I remember playing against a player on another team named prophet on fire. He killed that same guy in this video around 5:30. Wow it's such a small world.
can t'you shoot through objects as well, like walls, doors with smg and other type of weapons ?
I like the fact that the mag moves when you shoot.
did shotguns always have that kind of 1 hit range on them or is it just in this one ?
Are the gun variations a replacement to attatchments or something?
Technically, you can get a variation with a reflector sight on your gun (like a holographic sight used on planes, so weird that it's used as a reflex sight in BF1) and some other things, like a British scope on your gun
+Articounias Does aperture sight existed at WWI?
What im doing With my life I believe i heard that British (Maybe British aircraft) used these reflector sights seen in this game
They decided to go with fewer guns and fewer attachments on the whole and just create more standard variation types for each weapon.
is that a rocket gun or just a anti tank rifle cuz that looks to be a big bullet not a rocket ??
I loved running around in the previous BF with iron-sighted snipers, but the lack of one shot kills and that bolt-action isn't good versus all those semi-autos made it impossible to get many kills. That is why I hoped for more bolt-action in this game, so that they wouldn't be under-powered. Too bad it isn't that way
What's happening to houses in the distance at 3:35??
Can you switch between single fire, burst and full/auto?
funny how the anti-tank grenade has a smaller blast radius then a normal grenade while it is actually a stick with a number of grenade heads mounted on top. The damage and blast radius should have been six times as strong.
Are you going to do guides for the rest of the classes
