I find rakers need to be taken down a couple strokes on most new chains. It's hard to take the rakers down on safety chains.....Safety chains are nice for limbing, trimming, and brush. Also your saw sounds out of tune to me, Like it's not opening up.
I went to adjust the carb that morning but couldn't find my spline tool. I must have used it and not put it back in the saw toolbox. I'm sure it's on my bench somewhere.😊
