- In this video, I break down what you should be looking for when it comes to your deadlift torso angle. This video was recorded while I was speaking at a Seminar, so you'll get real questions and examples of the topics discussed.

Thank you! If you can, becoming a member would be the best thank you to help me put out more of these videos!
Great stuff keep this coming please
learned so
much at the seminar!!
I thought I was good at deadlifting and after watching these videos I rethinking my entire process lol
LOL there’s a lot of detail that goes into a really simple movement 🥵
Please keep posting Mitch.
Do I get it right:
1 Toes forward - knees tend to come near/over bar
Shins - torso ist more upright / chest out
2 Toes flare out - knees tend to go sideways - torso angle is more near parallel
Having a tendency to be weaker off the floor position 2 is the choice to go ? Or I am stronger off the floor when my knees are more over bar and shins not that vertical?
Wish I was there
Mitch I'm 41, how do I make my back younger for deadlifting? I like the way it felt in my 20's.
Have you considered a trap bar?
Look into Dr. Stuart McGills work
In all seriousness, follow Kneesovertoesguy. His programming will help bulletproof your entire body.
I've tried literally everything and his stuff is the ONLY thing that works.
This is super informative! Question for you... have you ever tried a meal plan from Next Level Diet? I got one and I love it!
❤
Mitchell, great last few videos. What’s wrong with feet and knees pointed outwards a bit?
I'd love to see what you can pull in a silver dollar
So if you're weak at lock out, we want to move wider, with more toe flare, and fight to be more upright?
100%
@@mitchellhooperstrongman thanks champ!
3:12 😂😂😂😂
if you struggle off the ground, torso angle should be less, you should be more bent over
I have the torso of a 7ft man the arms and legs of a 5ft man lol so im 6ft bench im in the 500club squat never hit 5 deadlift never hit 4
Mitch "The Doo DooDoo Doo Doo" Hoop
.😀
Cmon Mitch easy to teach but hard to perform properly yourself eh 😅
The deadlift is probably the worst executed exercise of yours with lots to improve
You don't deadlift 1050lb at 140kg bodyweight with shit technique my friend.
He’s obviously one of the best deadlifters in the world
Hahahahha. Dude is one of the biggest deadlifters in the world right now, and you're going to try and down play what he has to say? Why, because relative to his power off the floor, his lockout strength is lacking a little, and that's only on 1000 lb + deadlifts. Tighten up man
Post deadlift.
@@thecommenter2134 i didnt say so. For proper technique and ever heavier lift see Rauno Heinla.
