brought tears to my eyes. My granddad flew for KLM in the 50's and I once had the opportunity to fly in a Fokker Fellowship from Schiphol to Vienna. Sat right next to the left engine and than roaring sound was terrific!
In Panama and Peru we have those fokker 70, we are flying them and we feel that it is a wonderful plane! It is fantastic plane!
And we ask God to allow us to retired like that Captain! As the greats Fokker´s pilot 70/100!

I always enjoyed my Fokker 70 & 100 flights out of Bristol. I never had a bad experience with KLM or Schipol.
I watched the escort from the Panoramadek and came in on the second-last flight from Norwich!!! All six are at Norwich now in fact, my home airport! :D

I fly weekly on the fokker100 here in Australia. It’s a lovely aircraft.
I loved flying around the States in the Fokker. American, USAir, and Midway all flew the type. Comfortable and quiet, especially if you were sitting ahead of the wing.
When was that? I don’t think I’ve been alive long enough to even see one in the IS

Ik was dan wel niet aan boord van de laatste F70 vlucht uit LHR maar wel die uit DUS, de KL1862. Top crew gehad!
The E-Junk replacing them is no Fokker. I know KLM doesn't have a choice but to retire the F70 as they are reaching the end of their service life. It's just a shame the new stuff isn't as elegant as the old stuff. Thank you KLM for doing the great job that you do to celebrate your history.
Buy the A220, it may be an ugly bird compared to the F70 but it’s great inside!

i had the pleasure of flying with it twice between Cologne and Amsterdam. the most fun takeoff i have ever had. i really miss it and i don't like the Embraer.. ❤️🇳🇱🛫
Wait, this was his final flight before his retirement, and he didn't even get to be the pilot flying? Kind of a bummer, unless maybe it was by choice. Enjoy your retirement, Captain.
He was the PF on the LHR-AMS leg ;) There isn't any footage from the cockpit of that part though... I was on board that last flight as well :)

I had the chance to fly from Hannover to Amsterdam with the F70 early this year. The take-off configuration was with ...flaps 0 !! I asked the captain after landing, and he confirmed that this is one of the few airliners that - depending on the tak off weight - is allowed to take off without extending slats/flaps. I will very much miss this plane. Long life to Fokker !

Fokker is a real plane I would say...sadly Fokker no more in produce...the pilot is so calm... I love the background music...hope KLM could retain this plane as part of their heritage and legacy

But the dissapointing thing is that it seems like the passengers also received a watersalute, but in fact...
Only the VIP’s received a salute! It was done when the pax were off the plane!
And I’m still very dissapointed today!

Fokker’s been bankrupt for 20 years now, so no chance of that happening anytime soon
On march 1999, I took an Aircraft similar to that: A Fokker 100. I flew from Milan Linate to London Stanstead. The Airline was Air UK. But since at that time Air UK was 100% owned by KLM, then I flew on an Air UK Aircraft whose Livery was exactly the same as KLM's Blue Livery.
Air UK later became KLM uk. Today it is part of KLM Cityhopper.
My father was been flying these planes for over 5-10 years but his whole experience with planes is over 20-30 years

الطاىءرات السياحيه كلها بنفس الحجم ،من ناحيه خاصه يعني يوجد first class لرجال الاعمال ،وأيضا كالعاده لعامة السياح الباقي ،ولا يوجد طاىءرات بحجم صغير لرجال الاعمال ،انا اسف ،كل طاىءرات السياحه بنفس الحجم ،والمطار متاح لجميع السياح ،لا يوجد خاص وعام ،يوجد قوانين المطار
