Swarmers is pretty underrated tbh, it gives each of your threadlings the ability to start an unravel chain. Think of it more as an exotic built for spreading unravel easily And unravel does more that DoT, it also gives you information of where players are through the damage numbers, even through walls And unravel as a debuff is something that any player on your team can take advantage of to create themselves a tangle for use into their next engagements Or yourself if you got the pick, now that tangle you created has the ability to deny an area around it as long it's in your line of sight, and it also creates threadlings that can also further spread the unravel chain It's one of those quantity vs quality situations Oh and unravel is pretty good at punishing teams that like to hand-hold, as all it takes for a single team member to take an instance of damage from any source to completely reset the debuff for everyone. Now add in a weapon that does DoT to further enhance that to spread unravel. Swarmers is good at least from experience if you pair it with a close range strand weapon with hatchling + thread of rebirth (two guardian kills to proc rebirth, guardian kills spawn 2 threadlings) (every second precision kill spawns 3 threadlings on the location of your enemy's death) (and those threadlings spread unravel) And I use Lemon as my secondary to cover medium/long range + DoT Swarmers is more of a snowballer, but that ball will start to roll the moment you start that unravel chain, to which is on you to maintain it It's definitely a different playstyle, and EoaW is more stronger as a generalist playstyle, But Swarmers does have its neat little quirks and chaining potential, especially against handholding groups Good video btw! It's good they adjusted Super regen. The subclasses that all have slow tier supers are back on the menu with that change alone - like Solar, Strand, Stasis Titan. Strand Hunter, etc. The worst ones like Stormcaller need more abilities that Prismatic doesnt have, more access to Amplified, etc.
OG Sunbreaker was amazing. Sunspots would actually kill an enemy if they didn't jump out of it and Mortar Shot was a fantastic close range melee, you punch an enemy and a sunspot is created at your feet. Epic. They ruined the class in 3.0.
Genuinely curious, what is the incentive of running Berserker over prismatic titan? You get the same suspend barricade to pair with arbor warden, same triple melee charge, same super or access to a faster cooldown super. Broken transcendent grenade. All of which can be paired with knockout or diamond lance for more kill chaining. It just seems like strand titan in a similar situation as arc warlock, where prismatic takes the best thing from the subclass and just adds better pairings.
@ Main incentives are fragments. Wisdom gives you orbs, stacks with Reaper, can allow for easy Armor charge builds. Continuity suspends longer. Mind gives you barricade back faster than Facet of Hope. Getting that tangle after suspend kill allows 3rd person peak and woven mail. Also, not sure why but tracking on suspension is way better on Berserker than Prismatic. Grapple and melee are better movement tools imo.
As a lover of behemoth titan; it’s a tier this season with artifact but it’s a resting b tier normally. I am a die hard howl of the storm enjoyer. The instant freezes paired with cryoclasm is just too fun!
Helion deserves more respect, most of the time its plain free damage, it can compensate your missed shots on a target to still get that kill. It activates at almost any range, scorch to give mini wallhacks and counter revives. Can cause ignitions if you hit a target at the same time with like a tripmine or incin grenade. Lasts a whoping 20 seconds and it can force movement from players if they tend to dodge it which limits their time to shoot you and it has alot more going for it
Prismatic Warlock with eye of another world is really good and versatile. I love it and of course stasis lock is such a mean machine once you learn the gameplay
That would replace deovour wich is very good in pprismatic, but deffinitely i would go with weavewalk, the threadlings aspect IS very garbage for prismatic@@Lorentz_Driver
I stopped using prismatic titan after realizing just how broken it is in pvp. If i win i want to win based on my gun skill. Not how broken my abilities are. Ive switched over to void titan with controlled demolition and offensive bulwark with the shield throw. And i run it with mask of the quiet one for both pve and pvp
I stand by prism hunter being the same strength as prism titan and that lightning surge is being very overrated, having three is only good for up time since you'll only get to use more than one if the person isn't spamming their abilities or using a shotgun which is super rare
@daltnix can you give some insight on what you think the best stat distribution for hunters is. I used to play low resil hunter but I find it very challenging in todays sandbox to run anything lower than 7. But if I do I have a very hard choice of specing into mobility for high dodge uptime or recovery for general survivability.
I think warlock is massively under powered especially on console and if Bungie doesn’t buff them I’m probably gonna drop destiny. I’m really fed up with hunters and titans that have abilities that lead into more abilities. And I’m also sick of the amount of hunters that use knucklehead radar and spam smokes.
Incorrect void warlock is amazing for 6s, stasis can be nuts if you commit into freezing playstyle and get gud, and solar warlock has always and will always be top 3 subclasses in pvp. I play all three classes….
I hope you know that solar, void, stasis and strand warlock builds are insanely strong. They dont provide the same directive abilities as hunter or titans do but the versatility and utility is absolutely unmatched
When I play high level comp and trials you only see hunters and titans and i never really encounter warlocks. These classes may be good but they don’t compete with titans and hunters and stasis warlock cold snaps are predictably and good players know how to outplay it

Lightning surge is heavily overrated, having multiple just increases the up time but if you don't get the kill with it then you'll get shotgunned or something else to kill you, there are also so many counters being used rn like slow dodge which cancels out your access to the ability, swarms, smokes and all the other abilities being used a ton currently that stop you sprinting or block your path, also even if you have someone low enough so you can lightning surge them to finish them off they can still take you down with them using a shotgun or even shoot before the animation does its damage. Also even tho you can one hit with it it still requires three people almost touching and for them to not try and shoot you seeing as three people shooting you is almost a instant death, its almost 3 times as rare to get a multi kill with lightning surge than getting a kill where a smoke bomb finished the person off

Been using solar hunter lately with lucky pants and it’s honestly made me like the game and appreciate the gunplay a lot more for sure.

I use hunter with 9 mob 7 resil and 7 recovery. It's working good .

Warlock as a whole is very strong and doesn’t need a buff, Solar has float, well/dawn Icarus dash ect
