Extra tip: If you set your keyframes to Continuous Bezier and mess with the ramping, you can get smooth transitions between keyframes to make it look more organic.
This is by far one of the best tutorials ive ever watched Speaks clearly, 0 rambling, clear directions, explains 2 separate ways, easy explanations, great examples. Something moderately complicated made simple. You have no idea how many tutorials i watch constantly that are garbage and a waste of time. I gotta appreciate gems like this.
really great video..straight to the point an thoroughly explained the what how and why without talking too much. 'more about 'how-to' rather than putting the camera on yourself and blabbering like other vloggers! extremely useful. thanks!
Yeah!!! Tried the camera shake and FIRST TIME it worked!!! You didn't miss out one single step. Thank you so much. These little things just add a bit of oomph to a video. So glad I found you!!!!!!
Great vid...but I'm having trouble with the "reverse-engineered" warp stabilization. This could just be me or it could be the latest version of Premiere, but when I copy the warp stabilization effect from a non-steady handheld shot to the steady tripod shot, it's basically as if I just applied the warp stabilization directly to the steady shot. It just asks me to analyze the steady shot instead of transferring what it analyzed from the unsteady shot. I have re-watched the video several times (so I think I'm doing step-by-step as Phil says), tried it several times using different variables, and while it definitely "steadies" my hand-held shot, it refuses to transfer that over to my tripod shot. Just curious if anyone else has also had this problem with the current version or has any tips. Thanks!
Yes I have the same problem. I can see the shakiness of the tripod shot but the big blue "Frames need analysing" message sits over the top of it. I can only assume this method no longer works with updated versions of PP
you probably found this by now but for anyone else looking for this you can turn if the analyze banner. just open up the advanced section in your warp stabilyzer and at the bottom there is a check box to hide the warning
This unfortunately doesn't appear to work anymore. Using Premiere Pro 2022 and when I paste the Warp STabiliser on the bottom clip it has a blue banner saying "Frame not Analyzed for stabilization, click Analze
@@VideoSchoolOnline Analyze would then stabilise the desired clip instead of taking the stabilise data from the handheld footage and "pasting" it onto the smooth footage
Thank you so much for watching my video. I really hoped it helped you. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, please do so to get more videos like this one.
I followed all the steps to do the second option handheld. However, when I copy the warp effect from the clip with motion onto the other one, I can see the clip has the handheld effect but I also get a blue line telling me to analyze the frames and when I do, the clip goes back to playing with no motion. What have I missed or how can I work around having to analyze it again? I tried exporting without analyzing the clip, but it exported with the blue warning line on top of the clip. I noticed on your video you didn't get that blue line warning. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Not sure if you have solved this by now! But for anyone seeing this now, go into warp stabiliser > Advanced > Hide Banner I haven't checked it's gone after exporting, but it's definitely gone while editing.
@@thewolfink It will hide the banner, but it also doesn't correctly apply the effect. I got it to work once on a nest! I don't know what is different. I can't replicate it.

When I paste the Warp Stabilizer on the new clip, it says "frame not analyzed; click Analyze." One time I did it and it worked perfectly, but I don't know what was different.
Trying to paste the warp stabilizer effect onto the static clip, and Premiere's giving me a message saying "Frame not analyzed for stabilization, click analyze" - not sure if PP 2023 has updated in a way were you can no longer slap the warp stabilizer onto different clips or if I'm doing something wrong? (When I paste the effect, I select past attributes too)
Doesn't work for me with warp stabilizer, the footage I paste to my "shake" doesn't move, or if it does it does it randomly after 2seconds, or makes one move. I didn't click the analyze button on the 2nd footage I did it like in the video. :(
please @Phil Ebiner i need help if i have a video recorded in 60 FPS mode do i need to change the timebase to 60 FPS and what does it do please explain in detail if you could.
Just attempting to do the organic movment technique at the end and it's not working for me (PP 2020). Copying and pasting the warp stabilizer effect onto new footage does nothing and Premiere just asks me to re-analyze the footage. Am i doing something wrong?
so i dont think this works any more because when I paste the 'warp stabilizer' onto the clip i want handheld motion i get a message "frame not analyzed for stabilization"
Nesting the clip first helped for me and also making sure the clip with motion was the same frame size and had a longer duration than my still clip also helped a lot.
Mo Sulusi sometimes even nesting doesn’t work if the footage is clipping with other clip as example (if another footage is on top or bottom of the desired footage) make sure there is no other layer on top or bottom !
Hi! Is there a way that the adjustment layer only affects a single video source in the timeline? I have two sources in the same frame and I only want one to get the effects of the adjustment layer.
For some reason on the first type of shake, when I rotate it, it shows the same video underneath it which bugs me because it just looks like a screen rotating than the actual shot shaking. Any ideas why it does this?

5:20 Hand Held Style
there is no effect called " Dramatic Shake"

Try going in to the effect controls panel and click Analyze
