The thing is, that still in 2023, with premiere pro, u still need to do something more in order to make simple things (... for a mask u have to do 3 mask and an Alpha mask ... bla bla bla....), when nowadays with cheaper editing software u can do masking with just one click of the mouse using embedded AI.
Which editing program would you use for that?

Cudos to those guys who make these video editing monsters for us. I hope you guys not only thought of every aspect that may be adjusted in a video, but also are experts in video editing. Man, I am amazed how creative you are, how you were able to think of every detail. With one little exception: did you ever thought of us? Did you ever thought we need somehow to find out every function your software can do? I believe you know that nobody's gonna read the freaking 1000 pages manual written in font size 6 and printed on ultra-thin paper. Thanks jedi we have fellas like this nice guy who not only was able to dig your soft deep down enough and find something out and is happy to tell us about his discovery. Shouldn't it be way, way easier? When are you going to make AI to deal with your soft for us just by prompts? I can't wait. 😊

What is the best Premiere Pro Version you think I should buy to work without crashing? ✍currently working with CC 2015. is it ok to upgrade to 2017 or 2019? (My projects are usually 10-15 minutes max, but High in effects).

you seem to have a good understanding of computers, so upgrading to better specs would be more beneficial to you than finding older versions.

Try DaVinci resolve… I used to use premier and now decided to buy DaVinci resolve and the smart mask option makes things crazy simple
My premire pro doesn't have a masking option..

Just know that Mask To Trasform doesnt work well with clips that are already sped up in premiere. Slow the clip down first to 100% then apply the mask.

Great video. Perhaps my understanding of masking is too rudimentary, but I have no idea why the man disappears at 3:54. The mask seems to be acting like a selection; I didn't know they worked that way. A little more explanation would have been helpful.
Hi Karl, I’ve used this technique many times and here is what’s happening in this scenario.
When the clip is duplicated and the mask removed you would then move your video to the left or right, using the surrounding area to replace where the man was. The beach, water, and sky are so similar that with a mask you would hardly notice a difference. I do this many times to remove objects from the sky, like a plane, using the same technique.
