The issue with your demos is that you’re so talented in both playing and finding good tone, everything always sounds killer hahaha. Great as always though
I got the original SLO module and absolutely love it! Not long ago I also got the DRect module, and love that as well. Then I got the SLOII module, and to my ear it seems to be a little of both those modules. Not much tonal difference. The original SLO module is a bit more present in the upper mids, whereas the SLOII is a bit more present in the lower mids, like the DRect.
Had the seymour duncan modular in 88...graduated to the Randall/Egnater swappable preamps ...i like owning multiple tube amps best and messing around a little with modelers
That’s me too. I have. worked my way up to a few great amps after yrs of cheap gear. Until I felt I deserved it and could afford it. But a great lunchbox amp has been the Egnater tweaked 15 head. Then u fool who the the quad. I think if synergy was out when I got these amps about 19 yrs ago I would’ve gone with them. Maintenance and weight if the amps and repair guys are expensive etc. it would just be easier with the modules. I wonder how they take pedals.
@@Utube-s8m Had the Egnater modules taken off, modelers may never have achieved their present status. Most home players just need a tube preamp and a good speaker simulator.
Wish you would mix in more songs that had more ambient noodling that ran for at least 4 min. Love all your stuff on Spotify but I could have listened to that cleaner bit towards the end with the baritone for a while
The question is: How much difference makes a difference? Around $1500 for a head or combo, plus $400 for a close copy of an original amp. Seems like a pretty good trade off.
You are so pretty to look at! Really. You could’ve been a model. Great guitar playing as always! Interesting amp concept; I’m in the market for a new amp, although I’ve overspent these past three months, so I can’t pick one up tomorrow … but I’ll have to check this modular system out.
Repair service is available, and the components are standard under the shield (which is mostly meant to separate curious fingers from high temperatures).
Was thinking of buying one of these units and using it with a axe fx 3, is that dumb? lol Wondered if the tones from the Synergy would be better or should I just use better IR’s and more time to get better tones with Axe Fx? Great playing as usual man!
Love the slo for leads, but never could get a good rhythm with it. Can anybody give me some tips for making a rhythm tone on a slo? I would love an 80s hair metal rhythm tone and also a djent tone with it
A boost. For your style, a Tubescreamer is probably gonna be up your alley, since it cuts so much low end and adds a ton of mids. Never been a fan of TS style pedals myself, but it's not my style. I like the Tube Driver, MXR custom '78 Badass, Koko Boost and DOD 250. They don't change you tone much, just kind of add harmonics and tighten up the bass without totally killing it.

He is incredibly good at dialing in a solid base tone in itself. It blows my mind.
The problem is the delay. Makes it hard to hear just the module.

Dang it, now I need one of these as well.
Video idea: Do you dial in your tone in QC/Plugins differently for each guitar? It would be quite useful to see the different approaches. Keep it up!

Editing and cutting paste this and that it is Amazing
11.25 totally sounded just like Tool....The Pot tone for a moment there....love that song...
Geez that sounds good. I am also dying to hear what you would get out of a PRS MT100
Have you tried the new UAD 5150 style pedal? Would love to know your thoughts on it.
Yep, video coming soon
Man - I just love hearing you jam with these pedals.
Also what is the song behind the outro video? holy smokes 💀

I think this would go good with the TDLX module
Love that push clean tone, so that is two channels at same time? Clean and crunch?😎🎸👍
No it’s just one channel you’re hearing at a time
- they’re both identical but you can dial in how you want

The Soldano SLO 100 is $4000 for the head.
@@christopheraniol3394 Yep. Close enough is close enough.
And the audience never noticed!
What would you run the module into?
What you using for a power amp? You just running the preamp straight in with no power amp?

I wonder what happens if a module breaks ? Do u send it back for fixing or that’s it? You have to get a new one?

so when you are comming to spain?
*on
@@shaharbarCummin on Spain? That's a way of traveling 😂😂
OP is asking when Rabea is coming TO visit his country, which is CORRECTLY asked.
@@JohnWiku its not funny when you explain it
🤘😎🍻💯🔥🎸
Do you have to comb that thing, or do you just get out of bed and you’re ready to roll? Did you ever get it braided? Talking about the amp, of course…
@@shaharbar hahaha. I do comb it. But generally it’s low maintenance hahah works for me. And yeah the amp can get some pretty hairy tones too
Yo Rabea... is there an email link I can ask a question about the album I bought?
He doesn’t answer
It's ok. Still had the verification e-mail I found after I posted this. He's a busy man
I already knew this sounded good just by the face he's pulling in the thumbnail. Guitar player things.

Hello, looks like its just you me Rabea.
Sounds thick!
dude can make a wet noodle and a free Bluetooth speaker sound HUGE!!!!
isn't the world tired of the banging so arduously on the E and A strings? Metal today man... whatever

If you never use your tone knob, just spend about $10 for a potentiometer and a capacitor to give yourself a bass cut.
