Just for your information, this game mode is not "inside of LEGO Fortnite". This game is created in UEFN with additional LEGO related tools which currently are only available to the LEGO Group at Epic. If it was opened to regular creators, it will still require all the knowledge base you need to create UEFN game experience including programming, animations etc. etc. That said, it won't be click here and there and magically you'll get a game like these two are. The other lego games has dozens of Verse programming devices with custom code.

The rest of this comment provides no follow up support on why your first sentence is true. Are you implying I should’ve said “inside of UEFN with additional Lego related tools” bc nahh 😭 Either way with the lack of sources I feel confident in saying that I also disagree here. As somebody who operates an entire business around UEFN and works inside of it daily, I’d argue that this is an EXTREMELY simple mode to recreate given the current tools we have, and would require zero knowledge of verse. Sure verse is always an option, but using just a few devices already baked in to the program for creators, this one could be reproduced quite easily. It’s a very intuitive program. If you want a breakdown as to how this would be possible strictly using pre-existing devices I’d give it to you, but you obviously come across like you know your stuff so you should already know this.

The modes are made in UEFN, that's public knowledge across the UEFN community. The LEGO related tools in UEFN are constrained to `VKCreateUGCPartner` type as of right now. Those have code names such as `Atom`, `AtomFramework` and `Lime`. The first two are for brick creation and such, while the last one is related to the LEGO character itself. And no, those modes are not extremely simple, unfortunately that's an oversimplification on your end. Without commenting on how the information has been obtained, the non-raft map contains 100+ Verse actors. The little sharks in the raft mode are animated skeleton meshes, the NPCs on the boat are custom verse driven NPCs with custom behaviors and animations. The brick placing or displaying requires custom scripted math operations.
I understand that you were correcting me, and I still am unfortunately unsure as to the best language to use moving forward when talking about "games created in UEFN with additional LEGO related tools which currently are only available to the LEGO Group at Epic" since I incorrectly communicated the nature of the mode to my audience. I've seen every leak regarding 'atom', 'lime' + LEGO UEFN and can agree that, to an extent, this may have been an oversimplification. We just don't know enough about what is coming down the pipeline with the editor. However utilizing devices + cinematic sequences + all other current capabilities within UEFN that do not require verse knowledge, I still stand by the fact that a mode like this can be recreated entirely albeit with a lot more memory usage.

Am I the only one who thinks they’re spreading Lego Fortnite a little too thin with this? They should’ve put this effort into making survival better before making other game modes inside of it. I’m afraid that the core people who were making Fortnite amazing are gone now
Game is junk ….still adding new junk and not fix the 1st junk in the game that don’t work ……like the toys …..go try ballon’s and boaters and tell me how fun it is to restart 100000 times cause of game freeze / and not to mention the boosters and ballon’s what a fing joke this game is
