I unlocked level 10 on all 3 biomes and just finished building my winter base. I want to rebuild my other 2 bases now. I do not have every workstation or crops in my dessert biome and the buildings are a mess. I have everything in my forest biome, but I hate the mix of shacks and log cabins buildings. My winter biome is the largest castle structure with modifications. The large building has all my regular crafting and storage on the second story. The ground floor is all the cooking and a dining room/kitchen. In the eves between the buildings I have the spinning wheel and loom and storage for both. The next largest building is a barracks for my followers. The tiny building I removed one of the doors and stairs and made it my bedroom. The tower has nothing, but I am thinking of putting the enchanting table and weapon storage and making it the armory. The seed grinder is in the kitchen because I use it for making flour. I took out the main gate and mate a gate house instead. Originally I was thinking on putting stair to go on top, but I decided not to unless I change the walls to look more like a castle wall. The forest biome I might do just log cabins and a fort wall. The desert Biome I might do as a brick or yellow house, like an 1800s mansion and carriage house. If I do a beach biome maybe I will do the large Japanese style house with docks, but I am unsure what the next expansion will add. I do not care for the oriental buildings that much. I heard some of the stuff they are adding, but the one thing I want is steering for the boat, blimp, or car, a horse, a cheese maker, and a repair workstation. I hate spending all those resources to make say a sword with triple damage to just have it break. More crops, more recipes, more biomes, more caves, maybe even legendary tools and weapons... more animals, a feed trough and fencing to keep them in... I would also like more random locations with traders or NPCs with missions so you can earn some of the harder things to make. Maybe a dragon as an end boss... in a castle on a mountain. There is so much they can do with this game. I do think the should reduce the number of brightcores for smelting from 2 to 1 for each bar of copper or iron. How about fishing?
Kai, for your villages that won’t take any villagers, you might need to activate a bed for yourself at that village first, like set it as your spawn point atleast for a little
the village towers work the same as the villagers. if you break it and dont place it for 5 in game days it will get rid of the village entirely. maybe if you do that it will fix your glitched villages
I’m not even joking but when creating my Lego world I just put random numbers in for the seed and I’m in the same world (just not your exact world but the same world if you know what I’m saying) which is crazy…and cool.
I’ve been playing for a while now too… I JUST found out that if you drop lots of vines near either cows or chickens… they go eat the vines and give you LOTS of milk and eggs… who knew!
For your Mount Everest build maybe you could try starting from the bottom and walk all the way up to the village square without jumping just to make sure villagers can make it there? Idk just a guess
I like to keep my villages low tech like the wood walls with the spikes on top I think it keeps a nice aura to the village it makes me want to come back I mean the other stuff is just to present time when we only have swords for fighting
Kaz the not being able to upgrade your village glitch is basically saying you have too many buildings or placements in the area so basically you have to destroy a some stuff and part of the build until the village allows you to upgrade it I ran into this problem as well and it sucks
Place villagers beds on actual land, not your own builds, such as the peak of "mt everest" on the snow, that way they should stay there. H mad the same problem trying to build a desert cliff village. Only let them stay when i placed the beds on the actual land. Hope this helps.

Avoid making stairs that start from your village and go outside of it, cause I'm not sure how but if those stairs were connected to something (like ground) ousside of your village you will somehow get downgrade your village (im talking about rating here not level) and this is because everything you buit in your village (builds, machines, fornitures) will not be recognized as parts of your village anymore and you will have to 1st fix the problem that is causing this (maybe stairs) and 2nd destroy and rebuil everything to be recognized again
