Great review! It looks like the Golden Birdie is made of stainless steel. Was that not available when you bought yours, or was there a reason you didn't choose that one?
according to amazon the one I got is stainless however the paper that came with it did not say that and just said steel. however I do have my suspicions that it is stainless however was not going to recommend leaving it wet or anything incase I was wrong as I didn't want people getting upset with me. even though it is most likely stainless Its still best to treat it as if its not since even stainless should not be left wet especially with the small tolerances in movement these have. great question!
so you have this trimmer? how long have you used it.. not sure id trust myself yet with a straight razor in my nose and that close to the middle of my stache lol
@@30DayReviews I got Erbe Solingen today and can't take it out of my 👃(so enjoyable) says stainless steel and there are 6 blades instead of 12. Comes with a pouch instead of a box. I🐽it
got to let go quicker lol but yes comparatively to an electric it is a bit more painful. make sure you clean it out oftain as well or it may not cut as smooth as it should.
electric trimmers broke after certain time if rarely used.....thats why i'm looking for manual trimmers.....the only problem is if they are not sharp enough
I think that trimmers like this one are sharp enough as its kind of cutting like a scissors with two blunt angles very close to each other that actualy does the cutting.
Interesting lite gadget. But it is so small, I'm sure it would flip away from me and fly across the bathroom 😣 I do like the cleaning feature. I have a rotary one like the silver bullet, but I don't think it is a Royal.
@@30DayReviews It does okay. Doesnt cut the inside of my nose + no battery or charging. I clean it occassionally and put a drop of oil on the cutting head.
Any drawbacks to the bullet type aside from mandatory 2 handed operation that I haven't thought of? This is the only reason I am leaning towards the squeeze type.
@@gadgetsage I dont have the bullet style one however I would think it would work about the same however you would be spinning it so think it would depend on how accurate you are with a good twist. id think it would also be good in a dop bag as there is nothing to get stuck on anything else in it.
Im sorry if i make sure to speak clearly so that people understand me. Id sugest using the video speed option this will help the video go fast as well as me speack quicker for you. Thanks for watching and for your input.
oh yea sorry to hear that you got a product that didn't work for you. maybe these manual ones would work better since it has a nice wide opening on the teeth.
hope it works for you. just keep in mind that its not a fast trim. so make sure that before eyou go onto the next spot you have completely released it or you will have some pulling.
What if you don't want to find your electric one but you also can't find your manual one's? HAHAHAHA seems like a very sus statement. Who in their right mind would be trimming their nose hairs weekly? Trimming nose hairs is actually pretty unhealthy. I like to only do it when I have a couple to a few that start protruding. Other than that maybe an itchy bad personality one.
sometimes easier to grab this out of a drawer then to get the dop bag out of your luggage if not unpacked or already packed. many guys as they get older need to trim weekly as there hair from the nose grows that quickly. its unhealthy to get the far back ones but the ones sticking out of the nose is perfectly ok to trim. as I said in the video you don't want to put it to far back and just remove the visible ones. yea id say I trim mine about the same as you however my worst ones curl out so end up having to take care of them regularly unfortunately lol. thanks for your comment and for watching the review!
Sounds like a good deal to me. I ordered one online and didn't really know how to use it. Now I know, thx.
Glad I could help

@@30DayReviews put a magnet to it, if it doesn’t stick then stainless

I like it. I normally use one of my skinny straight razor.

Isit pain? Does this trim shorter then the electric version
I would have to say they probably trim the same amount but I do talk about any pain in the video so make sure you watch it all the way through.

i bought one for 3dollars in China,is it possible a fake one?
Maybe off brand but if it works it works. its not that expensive to begin with but I'm sure import raises it a bit.
I have the Gold one, and it does hurt a little. 😉

I think I may try that shever oil in this one as it does seem a bit dry when pinching to cut. good idea.
